I agree that Jon would have won over Lil. Heck, I hated Jon, and I would have voted for him before I voted for Lil. Maybe it was the way she was edited, but she became so annoying week after week. So often her vote controlled the outcome at tribal council, but she seemed to just stumble into the position of power rather than plan it out.

Oh MAN! That was AWESOME! I am SOOOO Happy Sandra won! Yay! She was my second favorite after Rupert- I felt right at the beginning she REALLY helped her team get off to an awesome start by what she did in the market with their money.

I was also very happy that Sandra won and not Lil. I am glad that Lil chose her instead of Jon and I think that Lil knew that she wasn't going to be the winner.

It was a great season and I hope the others will be able to compare. I was fortunate that DH got into this one, hopefully he'll be ready for the next.

Great outcome! Now I can say I person I really like has won Survivor twice (Sandra & Ethan)! I had read on this thread way back that Darrrah was the predicted winner so I expected that. She would have been okay but Sandra is much preferred!

I thought in the reunion show it was uncomfortable when Jeff was focusing on Jon. Jon seemed to expect people to be cheering him as this great villian, but people genuinely think he's scum!!!

Kinda surprising to see Darrah going from mortician to dental hygenist/aspiring model!

I had read on another website all about All Star Survivor. Don't remember the site, but it actually lists all the players and who is on each of the 3 teams!! If anyone wants, I'll find the site and post a link, that way, if you want more info before the show starts, you'll be able to (don't want to spoil any surprises in case you want to wait! ) By my HAPPY response, you know who is NOT on the show!!!

Now for a big laugh..........anyone else able to picture Jon as a wrestler??!!! Not that I like wrestling, but I would love to grab a handful of that bleach blonde mop and slam his head into a block on concrete a few times!!

YIPPEE!!! Sandra was my 2nd choice after Rupert, and I am sooooo glad she won! And I agree with the others - if Lil had taken Jon with her to the final 2, the jury probably would have chosen Jon, esp. since at that point the jury didn't know about the grandma lie. The way Lil kept saying "that's not Lil" instead of "that's not ME" really annoyed me.

I was disappointed - I expected more backlash/recriminations against Jon for his lie, but I suppose enough time has elapsed that the survivors are a bit calm. Or else Mark Burnett/CBS cautioned them against a brawl??

And they really didn't spend very much time on Sandra at the reunion show, did they? I guess they figure she'll get her time in the limelight now with all the guest appearances.

I can picture Jon as the comic relief between wrestling bouts, NOT as a wrestler. What a weenie! Glad we don't have to see him any more!

Me, too! My DH and I thought she was a bit nuts. Sobbing one minute about a letter or someone lying and then turning around and lying herself. And, the constant whining really began to get old. So glad she didn't win. I'm happy for Sandra and can't wait for the All-Stars version.

On a side point, next season I think we should use our Dis names as our Survivor team name and then rank the Disers personally and as a tribe. We tried personal rank another season but was confusing and difficult to do when Dis ID and team name were different. Anyone in favor?

To clarify Jon's comment about All Stars - I was taping the reunion show while watching it.
He said, "Maybe my Grandfather will die on the All Stars"
I didn't hear him right the first time either and went back to hear what he said.
Now, considering Jon this could mean two things:
1. He is a contestant on All Stars
2. He was sticking it to Mark Burnett/Jeff that he wasn't invited to be on All Stars (given the reaction Jeff had to the comment.....I felt Jeff was really stunned by the comment)

As far as the spoilers on http://pub207.ezboard.com/bsurvivorsucks (that's the link) I would take everything they say with a grain of salt. If you read some of the absolute predictions on who the winner will be - sorry they were wrong. Also, beware of the language, etc on that site - it can be a little harsh at times!

I only one I know for sure that is on All Stars is Rupert, because CBS Morning show said so. All the others, I suppose we can only speculate.

I was totally pleased. I liked Sandra from DAY ONE with her superb bargaining in the village. As I have said before, SHE was the reaon Drake had that great start.

I LOVED when Jeff asked Jon if he was a ******* in RL too!!! LOL!

I thought Jeff looked like he had swallowed a canary when Jon said that. I also thought there was a weird, awkward pause AFTER he said it. Even Jon looked like he wished he could take it back.

And I'll repeat another sentiment from earlier in the thread. In Survivor, though sometimes I'm not happy with the winner, The Winner ALWAYS deserves to win. The object of the game is to get into the final two and then win the vote. If you do that, then you DO "deserve" to win. Though Jon's lie WAS deplorable and I DO hope they can make some sort of rule about outside influences.

I saw the Morning Show and Jon was acting like a total jacjass once again. I'd give you a rundown, but I'm running late. My favorite part though was the host asked Jon if he hated or liked women. Jon said...I LOVE women, preferably 3 or 4 at a time. At which point Lill interjected ...THAT'S why I took Sandra into the final 2.

I can't imagine ANY women wanting to be with Jon.

I'm glad that Sandra won even though she was lousy at challenges. As she pointed out, people had different agendas and she basically made sure to vote with the right people. Jon got way too close though.

Congrats Sandra. Ever since Rupert was voted out she was my favorite to win. I hope Rupert wins the All Stars.

I was happy Lil picked Sandra over Jon even though I don't like Lil. She figured she wouldn't win so took who she thought was most deserving. I think the only reason she got 1 vote (from T) was because Sandra spent so much time convincing T to join with her in an alliance than voted against T at TC.

I would like to repeat my request that we keep rumors out of this thread AND the All Star thread when it gets going, please. I don't read the rumor sites because I don't want to know!

I think DISshopkeeper is talking about rumors that sneak into this thread without people realizing it such as some of the members of the All-Stars team and which tribe they're on. Such as:
