I'm glad Sandra won, I've like her from the start, though she did get a little verbal at times.

I believe Lil chose Sandra to win (because that's what she did), because she felt that Sandra would put the money to good use and not blow it. I believe she felt that Jon would just spend it on wine, women and song.

I loved the long pause after Jon mentioned the All Stars.

I am so happy for Rupert. He learned so much from his experience. To see someone who has had such a poor opinion of himself rise above it is fantastic.

And as far as Lil whining, I feel some of that was the editing. Like Shawn said, they showed more of Rupert's best moments and more of his worst. I think that she is probably a very likeable person. For her troop to be as large as it is (I believe I heard 75 boys) she has to be someone who everyone likes. Being a scout mom, I know.

Honestly, and I say this totally serious and not in jest, if I never see "Johnny Fairplay" again it will be too soon. After seeing him on the Early Show its like he's the only person who is clueless as to just how disgusting he is.

Also on the Early Show, Sandra said some days she'd get up on the wrong side of the bed and just start cussing Lil out because she's the reason Christa & Rupert were gone!

I think this was a great Survivor, I just wish Johnny Jack*** hadn't made it to the final 4.

Woohoo that Jon was not in the final two.

I'm so happy that Sandra won - Lil was a bit too annoying and whiny.

I have a feeling Jon's trying to parlay his way into having some sort of career with one of the wrestling federations - it wouldn't surprise me to see him with WWE as the one person the fans LOVE to see having the snot pounded out of him.

Lil really lost the money during her "lectures" at Tribal Council with the jury. She sounded confused, incoherent, unintelligent and kept repeating the same couple points over and over. Once she sees all the tape of her time on the island, she should be alarmed at how weak her game-playing was. At one point, she was losing it with everyone......

Up until that time with the jury, I though Sandra would be the underdog. Good for Sandra. She deserved to win and Lil didn't.

Jonny Fair Play got just what he deserved. You notice on the reunion part of the show, how only two people, T and Burton hugged Jon. I think the rest avoided him! Rightly so.

Kudos again to Jeff. He is the one sustaining success throughout all of the episodes over all the years. I don't think he gets the credit he deserves.

Here's to hoping Lex and Rupert are the final 2 in All Stars!

Wouldn't AS Survivor still be filming?? Think Rupert and Jeff were flown back to CA on the same plane?? Jeff seemed like he genuinely liked Rupert. We video taped the reunion show for the kids to watch. We all were hoping that Jon would of gotten put in his place!! I only hope that his stunt doesn't make CBS re-think awards that involve people from home!

All Star was purposefully scheduled so that contestants from Pearl Islands could participate. It started much closer to the end of the last series than they usually do them. The filming supposedly ended a few days ago, giving any PI participants time to make it to LA. Originally, the live reunion was supposed to be in South America to make it even easier, but a storm damaged the stadium where it was to be held, so they moved it about a month ago. Obviously at this point nobody knows who won All Stars, as they will find out on their reunion show just like past seasons (except the first, where iirc they did it on the Island).

Just to pick up on the spoilers issue. You can put as much stock in spoilers as using a ouija board or a crystal ball. One of the poiler sites had Darrah winning it all. They totally missed that one. Plus, they tend to over-analyze every little thing. The latest discussion (and trust me, this is not a spoiler, else I wouldn't mention it) is breaking down what Rupert said last night about Richard Hatch. They're now all convinced that Rupert won it all by beating Hatch, when all he said was that the reasson he applied for Survivor was that after watching the first year, we was convinced that he could beat Richard Hatch. As in "if that't the best they can do, I know I can do better."

I was happy to see Sandra win, she was my top choice after Rupert was voted off. I could not stop laughing this morning while watching Jon make a total fool out of himself. All he needed to complete his outfil was a hat a big feather sticking out of it After the way he talked on Survivor and the way he acts on the follow-up shows, he doesn't have much of a chance of getting dates. I don't think he knows just how foolish he looks.

As much as I hated Jon, you have to admit, he DID "play" the game. He used whatever he had to play the game, and that IMHO is worth a million dollars...

But dont get me wrong, I am glad he lost...

I was sooooooo happy to see Sandra get a 6-1 vote. It was also amazing to see her win it all , and the only time her name was put down, was for the win. On the other hand, she never won an individual immunity or reward.

I heard on the news that she does not know what to do with the money as her husband is in the military, and she now does not need a new car...her kids said they would want a bigger allowance..LOL

I totally agree. Eventhough I hated Jon, I knew deep down I would have been disappointed if he was voted off any sooner than he was. The entertainment of the show, definitely would have gone down

I am glad Sandra won also. IF I had been in Lil's place, I probably would have also taked Sandra to the final 2. Even if I knew I probably would lose to Sandra, I just couldn't let Jon get the #2 spot . He was such a jerk the whole time, that I would have rather taken my chances with Sandra and lost to her, than take him to the F2.

Jonny Jack*** ------as far as the wrestling thing, I can just picture him as a type of diversion, kinda like the clowns in the rodeo. Just someone to divert attention from the "real" wrestlers. If he got slammed to the floor, he would probably snap in 2 !

I am so happy that Sandra won. Survivor producers have a knack for selecting survivors of different cultural and lifestyle backgrounds and those survivors bringing to all of us.... entertainment. I have enjoyed them all. Here's to another great Survivor and looking forward to ALL STAR SURVIVOR!

OMG! I thought the same thing! I thought he was trying to be Huggy Bear from Starsky and Hutch! (BTW, I was VERY young when that was on. )

I read the spoiler sites early on because the office pool was allowing everyone to pick the survivor that they wanted. The Survivor Sucks site had Sandra as the winner. I picked Sandra and won $100 for it. Whoopie! My coworkers are now mad that I'm the only person who went to the spoilers to help with making my "investment" decision. My boss wasn't there for the selection process. No one wanted Lil, so I told them to put her down for him. Score me some extra points with the boss. He won $50.

On a side point, next season I think we should use our Dis names as our Survivor team name and then rank the Disers personally and as a tribe. We tried personal rank another season but was confusing and difficult to do when Dis ID and team name were different. Anyone in favor?

I just finished watching my tape this morning, and due to the fact that 60 Minutes ran late, I didn't get all of the reunion show. Was anything said there about All Stars? Like where it will be located?

Also, I noticed that when they got the letters from home, Jon was the only one who didn't talk about his letter. My guess is that maybe it was from his Grandma!
