I read that article...Dani's father has Gary's pic in his home. Because he is a big fan...but they also have some things up at his old college and she as been there as well.

I was wondering about Jamie's comment regarding his converstaion with Gary too. I could have sworn that Gary said he didn't want to, but he would vote WITH Jamie and others to ensure he stayed in the game longer. He actually even stated it that way, so if Jamie truly mixed it up, he's nuts. I really think he lied to stir things up, and it worked! Had Gary not found the idol, he would've been gone.

I also think the idol was a one time thing. I thought Jeff said that the finder could use it at whichever point it was most advantageous (I just heard Phil Keogan's voice in my head) to them.

Regarding the true identity of Gary. There is a show on ESPN called ESPN Celebrity or something like that. My fiance was watching it and I heard them talking about Gary. I only caught the last couple minutes, and of course when I asked my fiance what they had said he was like, 'Uhhhhhhhh ...' Men Anyway, they were talking to Amy and she still didn't know that was who he was, they are actually the ones who told her on the show (it was obviously recorded before Survivor aired.) She wasn't really angry, seemed to just laugh it off, but she said that she was hurt he didn't at least tell her because she thought they trusted each other and she would've kept the secret for him.

I really think that Jamie just misunderstood Gary. He's just not very smart and I really don't think that he's smart enough to do it just to stir things up.

I agree. I watched it again and with the subtitles the audience knew that Gary said "vote with you". But, if you just listen to it w/o reading it, the would "with" wasn't very clear. And the way Jamie reacted (the look on his face) to that made me think he misunderstood what Gary said. That Gary said "I'm going to for you". Gary was already on the chopping block. Jamie had no reason to try to persuade the others to vote for him.

Just watched the show-so happy Gary found it!!
I was hoping he would be smart enough to follow Judd and see him looking up-and he was!! yay Gary!!

I was so shocked when he pulled it out of his bag! That man should play poker with that face!! I would have been smiling and giggling and wiggling-everyone would have known I had it!!

I would have loved to see the footage of him actually finding it--couldn't you just see him doing a little happy dance!!!

I was hoping he would find it. Now he is final 4!! I wonder if he will even compete in the immunity challenges. I hope he does, and if he wins it, he can give immunity to Danni....

I hope Danni can save herself next week. I like her, she is very nice and has a good attitude.

Gary isn't Final 4. The hidden idol grants safety at 1 tribal Council. Probst mentioned the Final 4 because the hidden idol could have been kept and not used up to the Final 4. Gary is in danger of being voted out next week as much as everyone else. Survivor would never give someone a free pass from the final 9 all the way to the final 4.

So here is what I was thinking. Say someone like Steph or Cindy or someone like that who hasn't really had a threat of being voted out recently found the immunity idol. Since they really wouldn't need to use it right now, where in the world would they put it to save it until they did need it? If they hid it, they could risk someone else finding it, and if they buried it, they could risk themselves not being able to find it again. I think that would be tricky.

I couldn't for the life of me figure out how anyone thought Gary was dumb to use the immunity and should of saved it for later.

I'm so glad Jamie is gone. I wonder why they didn't let Judd in on it. Surely they didn't think he'd tell Jamie of their plans.

Stephanie seems a shoe-in for the final 2. Everyone else looks to her to make the decisions. The only question is who she'll end up taking with her.

Bobby Jon looked so happy tonight to be on the jury! I like him.

Great show tonight! I am so glad they got rid of Jamie...he was getting psychotic. Very interesting that Steph was in on it too....I figured Rafe, Lydia, and Cindy jumped ship (I wasn't really keeping track of how many votes each had) but then realized Steph had voted for him too. I guess her and Judd aren't as tight as they seemed to be??

Next week looks pretty interesting too.
