We thought tonight's episode was great, with the exception of who got voted out (and the fact that I totally didn't do well in the points area!)

The thing with Matthew kind of going nuts was a big part of the show. My teenage son and his friend were quite hilarious acting out possible scenerios of Matthew killing people when the commercials were on.
The tribemates expressed their concern to Matthew that his constant sharpening of his machete was disturbing. He said he is a pacifist and doesn't like the sight of blood, his or anyone elses. Still people said it was creepy and (not to him) that they didn't know how long they could stand to be around him. Rob
said he feels like he's taking his life into his hands whenever he's around Matthew.
The reward challenge was cool. They were divided into teams of 3. They were attached together and to a bungee cord. They had to pull through shallow, muddy water to reach flags that were progressively farther out and return the flags one at a time to the start. The teams were Rob, Christie & Butch (they didn't do well at all) and Dave, Deena & Alex (they won the first round) and Matthew, Heidi & Jenna (almost won).
After winning round 1, Dave, Deena & Alex repeated the challenge against each other. Dave won and had Deena & Alex guess how many fingers behind his back to choose who would accompany him on the reward. Deena won. They got banana splits and baths. Jenna & Heidi were the most disappointed because they really wanted the ice cream, however, Jenna said they didn't need the fat. Ha!!
During the reward Deena was pretty honest about the voting situation. Dave expressed his strong desire to stick around. Deena said she'd see what she could do.
When Deena & Dave came back they said they were hungry and shared in the tribe's dinner. Everyone else was ticked off that they would be hungry and take food away from them after eating ice cream.
Heidi & Jenna took baths (with their swimsuits on) with Rob watching every move closely.
The immunity challenge required answering questions and was similar to one they had on the last Survivor where when somebody answered correctly they could chop a rope on another teammate. After 3 chops that teammate was eliminated. Matthew was eliminated first, followed by Dave. Jenna, who didn't seem to answer very many correctly, ended up winning immunity.
There was another part of Matthew being weird. He was cutting up his own tennis shoes to make sandals!!! He is so strange!!!
At tribal counsel Dave again expressed that he wanted to stay. There was one hilarious part (we thought) where Matthew said he had good friends on the tribe and people listened to his opinions (something like that). Rob had a big smile on his face during his comments. Jeff asked him about that and Rob said "he was so pleased with Matthew's progress." Deena looked like she was stifling a laugh!
Dave was the one voted out.
We were all disappointed!!! The voting was totally lopsided with everyone voting for Dave and Dave voting for Matthew.
I'm sure I left out some details that someone else can fill in! I wish I'd recorded it, Tulirose. I would send it to you.
I could NOT believe it when Jenna called Deena a "Fat Pig" she's such a moron. And I have news for Rob... I doubt Heidi is gonna cuddle up to him, he doesn't seem her type.
