Much of the talk was centered around his relationship with Roger and basically, there is none. He will "not be sending him a Christmas card". He believes that Roger is a bigot as he said was revealed a bit last when Roger was talking with Alex (I think it was Alex) and then this week when Roger said he was so annoyed with Dan that he wanted to give him a "karate chop"!

Dan also got malaria upon his return home, but he is recovered now.

My team has a total of 214 points after last night. I was puzzled why I didn't get extra points for Heidi bathing nude but then looking closer at Klombar's picture, I realize now she kept her top on. Now I'm annoyed!

I PM'd Smilelybrat the overall score for The-DIS-Team and hopefully she will post those scores when she gets an opportunity.

I think that is why the men are losing so many challenges. They can not concetrate on the task at hand when they are ogling the women.

When Heidi made that insulting comment about "us cute girls", I thought, does she think she's in high school and she's in the "popular group"? Shawna hasn't said a whole lot, but Jenna and Heidi need to grow up and start using their heads instead of their chests.

So far I've not found any/many of these 2 tribes to have any endearing characters like in other Survivors(admittedly I've only followed a couple of the series). Maybe someone will come forth worthy of my vote! I kinda liked the guy that is 50,(not Roger, the other guy) sorry can't recall his name...see...I can't even remember their names that well, and on the other shows I knew them right off.

I'm also finding the "pretty" bunch of girls annoying and that for some reason they can't seem to include the deaf girl. What is up with that?

I thought the show was really funny last night. There was an awful lot of flirting going on during the reward challenge, and maybe that's why the guys couldn't concentrate. The "young, cute girls" were ridiculous though. And the fact that they vow to continue bathing topless after the merge should be very interesting.

I actually felt embarassed for the guys when they could not cut that rope. The girls whacked at it with the machete, and the guys looked like they were trying to saw at it.

At one point they showed Joanna and Christy hugging and putting their arms around each other. I wonder what happened in the camp to change things so much. I thought it was cute when the women were catching the fish and screaming because they were so excited. Those were actually some good-sized fish. I'm sure it was because of that bait they won last week.

Did anyone else notice that when they showed the votes at the end that EVERYONE voted for Daniel except Daniel? I was really surprised at that. There's obviously going to be a lot of backstabbing at that camp.

I think you might be refering to Butch. I like him too. His hometown, Olney, IL is not far from where I live, so he's kind of the hometown favorite around here.

do the guys think about anything besides the women? that seems like their main train of thought. with the women, especially the younger ones, it's their body. nothing like living up to stereotypes. i think daniel's comments at tribal council really made everyone turn on him. did you see matthew's face when daniel was talking about them both speaking chinese? i knew at that point he was going to vote him off because he was giving away too much info. i was surprised when it was 6-1 against daniel though.

I changed my team as soon as I saw last week's coming attractions. And it paid off. I was trying to figure out who might have been a possibility to speak a foreign language, but I would never have guessed that Matt spoke Mandarin. That's why I was sorry to see Dan voted off. That could have made for some interesing side stories.

It is absolutely hillarious (or scary, or sumpin') just how much the M/F stereotypes are playing out.... and even SSB was shocked by the "young pretties" comments.... ack!!!

Funny how your perceptions can change... as at one point Heidi seemed like a keeper and the Rocket Scientist big trouble... then in some ways last night, switched places .... can't wait to see what transpires NEXT week....

No defending any of the sexist comments, but let's not forget that the show's producers show us what they want to see. It's almost like Pro Wrestling when this week's hero can be tomorrow's villain. You had to know that once they split the tribes by gender, they were going to play up the sex angle.

This is really very true. They take 72 hours of footage from multiple cameras and edit it down to about 45 minutes. The producers can probably change perceptions of just about anyone when they are out there. I have heard that time and time again when interview people who were past cast members of these 'reality shows.'

Smileybrat - Numbers and me never did get along. Why do the Fantasy tribe listings have two different numbers 1/3, 2/2, 3/1. 4/4? Also, I believe the DisTribe's Tribal Chief is RouteManDan and I don't recall a post by him here for a while.

The three sweet-young-things washed each other down. Deena, Christy and Jeanne took their baths together. So, where was Joanna???

Jleaf - I actually thought that Dan got more than one vote during the READING of the votes. Someone here said that they watch the show live and tape it too. Then, over the weekend, they watch it again to get everything they missed. Not a bad idea.

Maybe Shawna is crying next week because she found out Daniel was voted out of the tribe and she is so upset because remember when he said, "hope to see you again?" She said: "You can count on it!" HA HA So now she has a big decision to make. Should she try and stay in the game and win or should she try and get herself voted out so she could spend the next many weeks touring South America with her newest admirer: Dan!?!?! Oh such big decisions these little girls have to make!

Okay, I'm mad at my favorite radio station. I missed Survivor last night (taped it, though) but the vote was ruined for me this morning on the radio, even though I tried to have it on a different channel at that point -- I switched back just in time to hear Dan got voted off That ruined both the ending and who would win immunity, but oh well.

All in all a very fun episode. It's about time the women got their act together! I know she's a little gruff, but I like Deena. Definitely like her better than the "Three Beauties" Okay, let's kick all three of them out, shall we?

I was soo gald Dan got voted off because of the comment he made about women in the beginning.

I thought for sure the men would win the last challenge because of their strength but, as my DH pointed out, they are all muscle-head are were trying to use too much force to cut the rope.

Did anyone notice that they picked mostly all single people for this Survivor? In the last one most of them were married. Interesting.
