Or, if he has to use it sooner.![]()
Oohhh yeah!!!! Hope that happens!!!!

Or, if he has to use it sooner.![]()
I became cynical in the Russell Hantz days when he kept finding idols. This is just too "convenient" that Tony found the "double secret probation" idol without any clues or help. He just randomly dug in a spot and it was there??? Nope, not buying it.

I'm so glad someone mentioned this ...
This kind of stuff was the reason I stopped watching Survivor before ... and most other "reality" television. NO WAY he wasn't told where that idol was...what are we, STUPID???
Like a PP said, this is now the TONY SHOW and the producers are building a little competition around him.Everyone else are his co stars and not even Seinfeld type co stars, more like the sun and the planets revolving around him.
Cassie has disappeared into the background, Woo is still somewhat entertaining, Spencer is trying to out think everyone, Tasha is playing a good physical game, Jefra WHO? and even Trish has faded into the background of the TONY show. And the pTb made SURE he'd stay around with the "oh my goodness I found a leaf in the forest" idol find...
REPEAT... what are we, STUPID????![]()
If some of you think it is fixed, why do you bother watching?
At every Tribal Spencer comes across as an idiot, he takes things way to personal.
If the remaining players were smart they would call Tony on his idol. He said it was a fake and then put it back on his bag. Make him take it out and throw it away if it's a fake.
I don't like that they can find these idols without the clues, they should make them harder to find.

Even if they call him out, it doesn't matter. It's the first of its kind and the tribe has no idea what's about to smack them across their heads.

For the same reason we watch The Bachelor even though we know they aren't looking for love. Why not? lol
Survivor is a TV show first, reality show second. Some of you seem to think that its a reality show that just happens to be picked up by a television crew. The people with the biggest personalities are front and center which is why Tony is getting a ton of airtime. Cassie is worthless, she is god awful at challenges. Jefra is a sheep. Trish is an idiot. As you mentioned, the other players are getting airtime for various reasons (Woo his athletic ability, Tasha good at the challenges, and Spencer b/c he is the juxtaposition of Tony).
Just watched Ponderosa and poor Jeremiah was really sick after he got there. They had to hook him up to IV.
I really don't think the show is rigged to give any one person an advantage. We only think that because of the editing. Those photo crews are with them 24/7, filming everything; we only see 1 hour of everything that took place during 3 days. Obviously they're going to show us the drama, and what led up to a certian person being voted off.
I highly doubt Tony was given a hint as to where to find that special idol. He's a fan of the show, he knows they usually hide the idols near an unusual natural object - a weird-looking rock, or a rocket-shaped tree or something. He's so paranoid that he remembered Jeff talking about a special idol being hidden somewhere near camp so he made it a point to find that idol. It's quite possible some of the others are also looking for that idol, but their "stories" aren't dramatic enough and that film is on the cutting room floor. It's also possible that with exhaustion setting in, some of them may think that the idol Spencer found near the river bank is the only idol. Who knows?
And now Spencer's idol will be back in play. Maybe next week there will be another free-for-all to look for his idol?

By Spencer's own admission, Tasha is playing a great social game. She's also a challenge BEAST! No one really pins Tasha as a threat? Some of those players should be saying, "The first time that girl goes to tribal council without immunity she is out of here."
I'm not sure why all the internet wants to talk about is Spencer and Tony. Spencer trying to spin Tony on a girl's alliance was a Hail Mary play and it was the ONLY play he had. I'm glad that it worked out for him but it wasn't a genius move. It was the obvious one. As far as strategy, Tasha working on the girls was at least as good and Spencer's play would have been less convincing without it.
Tasha has always been a social threat, but her dominance in challenges should have the rest wetting themselves. And if she can get rid of the guys, she's unbeatable IMO.
Disagree a little on Spencer's move. Maybe not brilliant, but he executed it flawlessly. If he's sitting next to Tony at the end, that's the first thing I'd want to talk about were I him.
