I was not thrilled by this last season.

Same. DW and I have watched every episode together since Season 2 except this year. We missed episode 1 this year and the rest of the season just never clicked for us. DW quit watching weeks ago and it hasn't been nearly as much fun not being able to sit together and make predictions about the moves. I never did pick a "favorite" for myself, which was a first

LOL, I have ONE 20 year old and since he's off school he has nothing but chores to do while I'm at work. I came home early and found out he does them about 2 mins before I come home but heck, I DID THAT, TOO!!

That was just my Monday morning crab *** explanation. Like I said, I could of been snarky, but why take it out on other people.

Getting in so it's in my subscriptions.

Per Probst next season does not have any returning players, and they are split into 3 tribes, Brains, Beauty, and Brawn. I assume it will be like other seasons where after a few weeks they switch up the tribes. Glad there won't be a returning player this time.

As far as the comment about why make the thread, I think it has been done the past few seasons, and this way I don't have to go searching for it when the season starts. I for one am glad to see the new thread created already.

I'm so glad it will be all new players. I do like some of the returning players but I don't want to see them come back every season.

I'm soooo hoping to see David Sampson get totally screwed over on the show. I can't decide if I would like to see him go first, or watch that weasel suffer for a few weeks. After the mess he and his father in law have done to the Marlins baseball team, he deserves a nice blindside. My biggest fear is that he is such an experienced liar and manipulator, that he will go all the way and get the big prize, sort of like when they swindled Miami taxpayers into building them a new stadium.

So… in short, not rooting for Mr. Sampson to win.

It does seem like it's been a l-o-n-g-e-r than usual time between seasons.

I'm looking forward to it TOMORROW NIGHT, I haven't checked out the players yet, should do that before the show airs though.

I"m subscribing. DH is an avid Survivor fan. I watch the beginning of every season and usually lose interest somewhere along the way but I hope that with the lack of returning players, I will be more interested. We'll see.
