Me too! But I'm not one that watches every season so I don't even know most of the returning players. But i would have LOVED to see the Blood vs. Water concept with first time players, that weren't calling each other and arranging alliances before they even got to the island.

Heck, i would have got the rice out of the fire and washed it off! I hope they all starve, they deserve it after keeping Crazy Eyes! maybe she can use her nuclear engineering degree to build some awesome animal traps. If you have an idea for an awesome shelter, why would you not build it out at home to make sure it works so you don't look like a complete idiot.

I agree with the lawyer chick... I would like to see the data behind why this tribe was selected as the "brains."

My husband and I were just shaking our heads that they just stood there looking at the rice instead of picking it up. They could have just moved the fire, put out what was left and, like you said, washed it off.

It doesn't surprise me that they voted Garrett off the second round. I could tell by the looks that Kass and Tasha were giving each other that Kass was probably going to vote for Garrett. He should have known that you don't just keep rattling on and on during tribal because that may cost you the vote.

So anyone else pick out some "favorites" so far?

Beauty: I love LJ, he has it all: beauty, brawn and brains. I also like Brice - he's funny and seems to know how to socially play the game.

Brawn: I love Woo and hope he goes far in the game. Also rooting for Sarah, she's a player and loved that she quickly spotted Tony for being a fellow cop. And, of course, Cliff.

Brains: No one yet. Maybe Spencer? I'm hoping Kass and Tasha can recover from their "errors" and bounce back. We'll see.

And I'm soooo happy there is no Redemption Island. Hated having a good portion of an episode wasted on that.

I was happy that Survivor was on for 2 hrs. I think I was able to get to know some of these people and am glad at the two who went home. I think that sending Garrett instead of Jtia was a mistake that may come back to bite that tribe. However he was a whiny baby who needed to go, I also thought he was going to quit. I don't get these people, do they just apply for these reality shows without watching one first?. I think that it should have been easier for an engineer to get those puzzles done before everyone else. I didn't like the cop guy as he seems really cocky. I also like Woo, Sarah, and Cliff. However I think that Cliff & Woo's days may be numbered as they are likeable and would probably beat anyone at the end.

Keep your eye on the policeman guy. Sorry I don't know names yet. He seems crafty. If he can be a nice version of Russell, he may go far.
If you are a fan of survivor, you should know that doing an unselfish act like getting more rice instead of an idol never goes unpunished. On this show, nice guys really do finish last.

Just watched it. Soooo happy David was voted out first!!!!

I do think the brains tribe made a mistake in voting out Garrett before J'Tia. They both needed to go, but Garrett would have given them a better chance at the next challenge.

So anyone else pick out some "favorites" so far?

Brains tribe - Spencer… seems like a good player. He just ended up on a bizarro tribe. If he can somehow make it to the merge, he could go far.

Brawn tribe - Cliff… everybody loves Cliff!Of course this will be a problem for him if he makes it late in the game.

Beauty tribe - LJ - I liked how he stayed calm and solved the puzzle so quickly, bringing his tribe back from a big deficit.

Beauty- Morgan and Brice. Morgan is adorable and Brice was also smart and did well in the first challenge so he could be a full package, we'll see.

Brawn- Sarah is another full package. Also like Woo (To me he's also the hottest guy there). Tony will be entertaining. Cliff is so likable too.

Brains- Kass was very interesting. We'll see how that turns out.

IDK, his actions scream poker player to me. By taking over control and throwing it out there in his open forum, that was his way of "splashing the pot"- a really ballsy and arrogant move and he expected everyone else to fold. Instead they called.

I think it was online poker. He was completely lost without his "poker face" emoticon. I don't know what rubbed me wrong about Garrett but I disliked him from the first second. I'm so glad he was out in the first episode.

In general, I'm excited about this season. I think it's off to great start. My pick win it (before the first episode aired) was Tasha. She's not in a great spot right not but I'm sticking with her.

Can't wait to see the looks on the faces of the other tribes at next challenge when they see that Garrett was sent packing. Brains tribe is now easy picking to beat.
Maybe the brains tribe will build a robot out of coconuts to win challenges like the professor would do on Gilligan's Island.

I like the only guy left on the "brains" tribe. To vote him off would be suicide for their team.

Wow, talk about overcomplicating a vote. Had to re-watch the Beauties' strategy to figure out how the original 3-way tie came about.

Can't believe J'Tia had the nerve to talk about making rice. Sorry to see that Sarah-cop has been taken in by Tony-cop.
