Survivor *Cagayan* BvBvB Next Wed 2/26!

All season long people were comparing Tony to Russell Hantz. I hope we can put that one to rest now.

Tony was a good player and a GREAT character. He was constantly turning the game upside down but never in the malicious way that Russell did. He created as much chaos as Russell did but didn't create a bitter jury in the process. He also showed that he was at least as good at finding idols as Russell was. I didn't love Tony. I don't think he's among the greatest players ever. However, he is certainly superior to Russell Hantz. Russell played three times and never won. Tony won the game on his first time out.

Now, Russell is on twitter trying to pitch a Russell vs. Tony season? There is nothing to prove there. Tony > Russell. Done.

I'd like to point out that the lack of bitterness toward Tony wasn't just because of the nature of the people on the jury. They seemed to be plenty bitter toward Kass. :rotfl:

I think some of those jurist were plenty bitter but voted with their heads instead of their hearts. Tony deserved to win that game and they recognized that.

I know many will disagree with me and say he blew the million, but Woo can hold his head high. He was very likable, and did the honorable thing by taking Tony to the final. I think he should have pushed a little harder with the final argument at tribal, saying that Tony was there at the end only by his choice, and that he could have taken Chaos Cass with him for the easy win. He certainly sent Kass back to her seat with her tail tucked between her legs when she tried to embarass him at final tribal.
That said, Tony was a deserving winner. He is not Russell.

Woo made a huge mistake, just as Colby did in taking Tina in Season 2.

I certainly understood his reasoning but in the end it was the wrong move if you really wanted the Million. He must not have wanted it enough.

Tony was the only deserving one after Spencer was booted from camp. I wonder if the votes would have been different if Spencer hadn't done the whole speech about Tony deserving it.

So happy with how this ended. Tony played a great game and deserved the win. One of my favorite endings for Survivor.

I always wondered why nobody ever said, "I'll take whoever was in 2nd place" so they don't HAVE to choose.

I'm pretty sure that has happened in the past a few times. Perhaps coincidentally, the second place finisher may have been the person they WANTED to take along on the reward.

I only watched bits and pieces of this season. I suppose Tony was the best overall player from what I've seen.

I'd compare Tony more to Boston Rob than Russell Hantz. Russell said train wreck, Tony played a strategic game based on deception.

That will teach me never to judge the final vote based on the jury's questions. I would have bet the house on Woo winning based on how everything went at the final tribal.

Woo made a huge mistake, just as Colby did in taking Tina in Season 2.

Except, if I recall, Colby took Tina knowing he would lose because he didn't want the 3rd person (don't recall who it was) to have a shot at winning.

Tony was annoying, to about the same degree as Russell, but Tony did deserve to win even with his lame rationalizations for backstabbing people.

Sarah sounded like she is very angry about the comments that Tony made on twitter.

During the game, Sarah said she did some local interview's and Tony started with the twitter ranting. She did say in the end, they made up, but she will never talk to him again.

I wondered why so many of them commented that the show was taped well over a year ago. Usually the shows that are taped in the Fall are shown in the Spring. Also, Jeff kept saying this was the best season ever and viewers like us need to keep watching and then he encouraged people to apply to get on the show.. Makes me wonder if the show is in danger of being cancelled.

I thought Tony played a remarkable game and deserved to win. Woo is a great person as well and loyalty is important to him. Don't find that nowadays:)

Tony should give Spencer a bonus for his speech, because it may have swayed a few votes. :rotfl: And it was correct.

If I'd been voting, I'd have voted for nearly anyone but Woo. He was Jeff Spicoli likeable, but was a lap dog. Tony played him like a fiddle.

Tony over Woo

Spencer over Woo

(K)Cass over Woo....at least she DID something

Anyone except Trish over Woo. Trish did save Tony's bacon on multiple occasions, but she was still Tony's lap dog just like Woo. Woo is a nicer lap dog, so between those two, I'd have voted for him.

I know Woo kept yapping about honor and taking the strongest opponent to the end, but they were not competing for a $10 TKD trophy with a plate on it reading "HONOR." They were competing for a million dollars. Clearly, Tony grasped that better than Woo. God bless Woo, he was nice. But he never did one thing to make me think he wasn't as dumb as a box of rocks. You could almost see the puppet strings moving above him when Tony started talking. :lmao:

If he thought this game was about honor and not a million bucks, he was on the wrong reality show. He was not playing to WIN Survivor.

I totally agree with all your statements!!!! :)

Samurai Woo, he fell on his sword for the honor of losing a MILLION BUCKS.

I didn't marvel at the way tony played. I mean really he had an idol where he never had to worry.
I really think Spenser won it for him. I think had Spenser not spoke like he did wo would have won

He didn't say the game was about honour, he said that is the way he lived and if he was to win, he wanted the final to be against the best player in the game.

Tony was a great player. I am glad he won.

I knew as soon as Woo won the final IC that he would choose to bring Tony to the finals. You could tell that honor was a big part of who he is.

Cass - just a horrible person. I disliked her nearly as much as I disliked the brains-rice dumper girl!

For me: I disliked Morgan. What a airhead. Goes to show you that beauty isn't going to get you everything duh:rotfl::rotfl:

I really wish Spencer had made it into the final two. To me, he was one of the best players. He battled up hill the entire game and still made it far. That's impressive. Tony was part of a winning alliance from the beginning and found three idols (which is pretty cool, but I've never been a big fan of the idol).

Once Spencer was voted out, I didn't care who won, as I was not a fan of any of the remaining three. I do think Woo made a HUGE mistake in taking Tony. It's a million bucks. You are there to win, and if you're not, why are you playing? If you came to win, then play to win. STOOPID.

I do think it was honorable. But, meanwhile Tony walks away with the money, and apparently HE doesn't have enough honor to say "here's half the money because without you, I would not have won." :rotfl:

Tony didn't have any honor the whole game. ;) I really wanted Spencer to get to the end, he may have been the only one to beat Tony.

I don't think they are allowed to do that.
