Survivor 20**HvV**No SPOILER THREAD**

He didn't screw over JT, JT did that all by himself.

I agree. All Russell did was take the idol. He never promised JT or the heroes anything.

Last night was the 1st time Russell wasn't in command, and he knew it. Should be interesting to see how he responds next week.

Don't you remember him promising them he was part of their alliance and they could count on him and he SWORE on his children's life. If that wasn't a lie, I don't know what is.

And, I agree - enough of the hidden idols.

I really hate the idols.I wish they would just play the game.

Well it wouldn't have mattered if the Heroes believed Sandra or not. Candice was with the Villains which gave the Villains the majority. At this point Candice thought she was Russ's new best friend and there wasn't anything Sandra or the Heroes could do about it.

::yes::

The Heroes just don't play smart. They flushed out the idol without even meaning to. If they knew what they were doing, they could have taken Parveti out. Even Candace knows when the ship is sinking.

Looks like I'm going to be the only one to disagree... I think that the idols have kept this season from being really boring. Russell giving the idol to Parvati, Pavarti to Jerri and Sandra....those were great moments.

I love having the idols while Russell was finding them on his own. It's been good suspense and moves this season with them too. But I don't know about next season. It may just be too much.

He sure did. When he first got to camp, he swore to JT and Rupert that he was in with the heroes.

But he didn't promise anything when he accepted the idol in the first place. All he got was a letter and the idol. There were no promises/agreements made until after the merge. Sure he's going to swear to be with them. He wanted to keep up the image that it was an all girl alliance. Is it any different then Sandra telling the Heroes that she was with them also? I don't see anyone putting her down for the same thing.

I think I would like it if they did away with the hidden immunity idols and just went back to playing the game. Now there are so many of them floating around that they really distract from the basics of game play I think.

Yeah but you're not playing a game for a million bucks and that bag wasn't 'yours' just a second ago because everyone in the room wanted it.

What's up with 'Colby, tell her to give it to me!!!" Who is he, their Daddy?
That whole thing just creeped me out.

Oh I didn't realize that a chance for a million dollars made it OK to STEAL.

I don't think that it was stealing. She put the message on the floor and Amanda found it. It's not like she went into Danielle's bag and took the idol. If Danielle didn't want anyone else to find the clue, she should have put it somewhere where it wouldn't be found instead of on the floor in plane sight.

He didn't make any promises when he took the idol but he sure did once they merged. Had he not, I'm sure that the votes from the Hero tribe would have been different.

If you believe what Russell said at tribal last night, Sandra may make it to the end. He said that he would take her because he feels that no one would vote for her. Looks like he may be making the same mistake that he did in his first game. Remember what he said about Natalie... "Who better to take to the final two than her? There's no way she can beat me in votes."

:rotfl:.

That's true.....and Heroes v. Villains was filmed BEFORE Russell knew he didn't win the season with Natalie, so he doesn't know that his strategy of picking the "right" person to take to the final 2/3 was flawed.

Boy, after the Russell pouted and acted like a little baby when he didn't win last season, can you imagine how he'll act if he makes it to the final 3 and doesn't win this time either?

Maybe we'll just agree to disagree. I just hope some of you are never around my things ;), especially with a million dollars on the line.

I did think it was dumb where she put the idol. If it was me, I would have slipped it into the back of my pants... or bikini bottoms, I think that's what she was wearing.

Two excerpts from Jeff Probst's blog:

RUSSELL FINDS A THIRD IDOL

“I am the king of hidden immunity idols.” I’d have to agree. Over the last two seasons Russell has proven that he has an uncanny ability to find the idols. In fact, he’s so good at it that he’s forever changed how we will handle idols in future seasons.

INSIGHT: Next season it will take more than just looking under a rock to find a hidden idol. I won’t give away what we’re doing, but in planning our creative for next season we coined a phrase, “The Russell Factor” and it influenced how we will play the hidden idol next season.

YIPPEE!! Looks like they'll make it harder to find the idols. It's about time!

Next week is a biggee. Two immunity challenges. Two tribal councils. Two people gone.

See ya then.

My take: Rupert and Colby will be gone. Unless they happen to win immunity. I think the Villains will get rid of Rupert and Colby before Candace, but she'll go after the guys are gone.

I had Amanda in an office pool, so that was the only reason I was sorry to see her voted off last night. :rotfl2: I can't be greedy, though -- I won with JT last season.

To me, Colby seems like he's totally disconnected from it all.

That will be funny if it happens. From the clips of Ponderosa, it sounds like the 4 there really hate him. Whether or not they base their votes on that, only time will tell.

I think they'll boot Jerri before Candace. Candace flipped on the heroes and more than likely, lost their vote. Jerri's in good with everyone. They'll want her gone.

Probst has signed a one year deal which has him hosting Survivor 21 & 22 and has said that only signing for one year (he's committed to 2 years the past couple of times) doesn't necessarily mean it's his last year, just gives him more options.

I'm not really a Sandra fan, but I loved her little speech where she said she wanted to stick it to Russell for Courtney, Boston Rob, Tyson, and hey, why not include Coach, even though she could care less about him. :rotfl:
So in the absence of any other clear favorites, and since she's trying to avenge my boy Rob, I guess I'll have to pull for her a bit.

Not sure how I feel about the Danielle/Amanda cat fight, other than that I was uncomfortable watching it.
If someone finds a clue and is sneaky enough that no one else realizes it, by all means keep it to yourself. But Amanda was able to pick it up off the floor, not out of Danielle's hands, or her personal belongings... so I think she and Colby were crazy for not pressuring Danielle to share the info with everyone on the reward (which Colby won for them btw)

I've been disappointed with Colby all season, and him being so blah with the clue drama just cemented that feeling for me.

Amanda should have just opened it up right then and there and shared it with all three. It was in the bowl of popcorn, meant for all of them to see (that's what I would have argued). What can they do if she just opens it up and reads it? Nothing!
