Surfing at Typhoon Lagoon

Has anyone taken the surfing class at Typhoon Lagoon? DH, DS 13, DD 9 and I are going to try it next month. Does anyone have any comments, advise or suggestions?

Surfing lessons sound great! we hope to do this someday too. I don't recall what the age restrictions are. However, you might want to check to make sure your 9yo will be allowed to do it.

My DD18 was 16 when you tried the surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon. She had a wonderful time, and there was a variety of ages taking lessons. The classes are small so there is alot of individual attention. The instructors are very professional and I was able to stay and watch. All of the students were very supportive of each other which made it more fun.

She would do it again in a minute.
