So I checked my email this morning....and I got one! It's the 20/30/40. I'm so excited, yet sad to not be a pinless member anymore :sad1:

I did what everyone did...six email addresses and four days later it finally came. Have hope everyone!

For stationary......... :confused3

At least I know that they are sending out emails to me. It's to an address that I was previously registered with but never used. It has no itineraries saved, no vacations saved, and never booked anything under. Go figure. I can't even log in under it because it says there is an error. Yet I have received the Prince of Persia movie sweepstakes, the create your own video, and now the stationary.

My regular old email address that I have booked my vacations under and am currently using for my upcoming vacation and have saved itineraries and vacations under gets nothing. They probably realize I am going to Disney and do not bother.

The 2 new ones that I recently created have only gotten the create your new video and I am still waiting on them for something. They are too new yet (within the week). Keeping fingers crossed.

Has anyone tried setting up a new account through this website:

I got there by typing in disneydestinations.com. I used another new email and a different address.

Once I set up the new account, I clicked on Disney World Resort in the upper left corner, which took me to disneyworld.com and I added the itineraries as I have been doing previously and then I logged out.

Tonight I got my first email from Disney Destinations. It was an invitation to create my own video to watch right then and there. As I set up the video, I was asked to enter my personal info and when I'd like to visit, etc. so they could send me additional info. It also asked where I'd like to stay. I checked the box that said I'm not sure. :rolleyes1 lol.

We'll see what happens.

I hadn't done this before through this link, but I have just signed up with my ten accounts, lol. I did one last night and still haven't even gotten an email saying I signed up, but it will be interesting. Thanks for the link. :)
 

My hubbie said it was because I got sick for most of this week that got my pin (20/30/40), but I'm thinking not...


What I did: :surfweb:
  • four different emails with the same home addresses; three under my name, one under hubbie's name
  • saved itineraries around the times I was looking for
  • looked at package offers while logged in
  • saved package offers while logged in
  • looked at room offers while logged in
  • looked at ticket prices while logged in
  • saved room only offers while logged in
  • every time the non-booking survey popped up, told it it was too expensive

What WORKED for me may not work for you :dance3::
  • changed info on two new email addresses that weren't already registered with Disney; one to my hyphenated last name, one to my work address
  • canceled all saved offers and itineraries
  • logged into the new accounts and made itineraries for times around when we wanted to go
  • put didn't need accommodations (staying in non-Disney resort) for all
  • put things actually IN the itinerary of the email address that got the PIN code
  • shopped all levels of Disney packages and rooms, but never saved
  • always told the pop-up survey when asked Other: Staying Off-Site
  • Once finished, stayed logged OFF of Disneyworld site
  • Once I got a junk email from Disney Destinations (snowglobe, etc), then I logged back in and started over
After 10 days, a PIN email showed up in one of the new emails (never any of the ones that were currently registered with Disney from previous trips), on April 19, three days after an offer for Disney videos. I hadn't done anything with any of the emails or Disney accounts since before the weekend since I've been sick. Interestingly, this is the one that has my maiden-married last name on it; my last name is unusual, so I was wondering if, because my mom and I had a trip booked, I was getting screened out because of that. My hubbie says it's random, the CMs say it's random, but darned if I didn't get it on THAT account and none of the others....

So now, instead of a weekend in PO-FQ for our Mom-Daughter weekend, I'm surprising my Mom with the Poly!!!! :cheer2: And hubbie is SERIOUSLY considering a trip in late October- we can do WL for the price of a moderate....

YES thank you, I now have a dozen , or so..... accounts.
System overload, I am certain that at some point it is going to say that I have exceeded the number of accounts for my household!
OR worse, I won't be abble to call Disney out of FEAR!

I see now why I didn't receive the confirmation email for yet, another new account using this different link mentioned by SNicksed. What I did wrong was I only signed up my email address to receive updates. I didn't actually register. Soooooooo, needless to say, I'm now registered with a new email address using the link provided by SNicksed. Thanks!

OK, I am trying a little something different....

Dear Disney,

Please take my money. I just cannot seem to go more then a year without feeling like I owe you $3000-5000. It seems as though I fall into a deep depression without having some sort of debt to you. Even as a working mom of four princess', I can't seem to stop thinking about the next trip I would like to book, or the next discount offer I might score. I enjoy working evenings, nights, weekends and holidays just to have some extra cash to afford my next trip. Paying full price doesn't seem like enough dedication to you, in my endless journey to give you all my savings account. No, really. All the past trips we have taken are just the beginning of a life-long commitment to the mouse. I enjoy spending countless hours entering information on your website, just in the shear hope of receiving the coveted PIN code. Honestly, I don't really need to tend to the rest of my responsibilities, and...I almost have the laundry trained to wash and dry itself!
So please take my money. I really don't need a PIN code...

I signed up through this link last night and used my work email address (all other itineraries and such have been with my home email address). Came home from work and at 5:50pm received my 1st ever email from Disney Destinations - to my work email address - for..........the chance to make my own vacation video :sad1: BUT, at least I know I'm in the proverbial "system" of Disney Destinations!! Even though it was the video planning email, it was still exciting to get - at this point it doesn't really take much to make me happy ;)

Here's hoping some more PIN codes come flying our way!
 
So I decided to call again to see if any pins were attached to my name and the only ones were the two my DH received for the QSFD through 8/14. Which doesn't help since we are going 10/2. I spoke to a really nice CM. He said, "Well, just because its only good through 8/14 doesn't mean they won't extend it." I said, "I know, that's what I am hoping for!"

He then said, "Just make sure to keep checking the Disney website and even sites like Mousesavers, they seem to have the info before we do!" I said, "I check everyday, all day, lol" He said a new one might come out by the end of the month...hmmm. I said, well I heard rumors of it being May 3rd? He said he had heard that date also but they can't really release that info. He said sometimes they don't know until right before its released.

I then asked if it makes a difference if you already HAVE a ressie or if its a NEW ressie whether you get the discount. He said they only have so many rooms per resort for the codes and regardless of if you have a ressie or not, its basically first come first serve. So he said to keep an eye on the boards and as soon as I see a discount out there to call. If its available in the resort I am staying in, they just apply it to my ressie. If not, then I can switch resorts if I want.

Thanks for the info! The CM I spoke to also said to try at the end of the month that they may extend the QSDP pin that is attached to my name. HMMMMM interesting! I would love that! It would save us about $400. Im down with that!!! heres to hoping!!! Good luck!!:goodvibes
 
I know someone is keeping stats here, so ...

are PINS all arriving by noonish... and are we talking noon eastern time? when I don't get one by noon I just feel a bit let down... almost like when I try to sell something on ebay and it goes unsold. If I should keep up hope after 12 noon please let me know

I was wondering the same thing. My heart sinks around 1:00 knowing another day and no pin.
