Sunshine Seasons: Have You Ate There?

We love Sunshine Seasons!! One of our favorite CS meals!! So much variety.

We have eaten there for Counter Service lunch. My mother and I both had the Chinese food. It was okay, but probably not even as good as the local restaurant. For dessert, I had butterfinger cheesecake, which was good, but not great.

This is the ONLY Epcot CS I will eat at. I've had the Asian food, good, and rot. chicken, very good. And the desserts are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo goooooooood!!! There's plenty to choose from, I like that in a CS.

Also, sit at the section all the way to the right, when you're looking toward Soarin. It's behind the Living with the Land line. For some reason, nobody ever sits in that section. I guess they like to sit where everyone else is sitting. There's always plenty of tables there.

I saw this show and was also wondering how the food was at Sunshine Seasons. I am so happy someone asked the question. Can't wait to try it soon:cool1:. Thanks.

Sunshine Seasons is a must-do for our family. I have loved the seared tuna salad, the california roll, the roasted beet and goat cheese salad. My DDs love the California roll too and the selections at the Asian section. My husband likes the turkey sandwich. There's so much variety, so fresh and everything has been super yummy!

Yes-SS is good-great desserts (not your standard package CS ones).

Where else can you have seared tuna salad! :confused3 for a CS credit! So good. We usually get it with the normal asian dressing but once my DSis ordered it with Caeser dressing instead and that's good too!

The chicken is an excellent meal and very sharable.

Also I like that you can refill your own soda. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Just asked where my dh and dd wanted to eat as I started planning for ADR's -

they describe Sunshine Season (the place in Epcot that's not a buffet, but sorta looks like it... :rotfl2:)

DH loves the fish offerings!!! just know - we're on the DP so I let everyone go off and pick where and what they want - they know how the DP works!! Well we sit and I have the only bakery dessert!! :rotfl2:

Just make sure you go all the way to the end!! The bakery is the last stop - but they also have some desserts in those coolers that are "in between" shops!

Best counter service in all of Epcot. Delicous with a great selection. We have ate here several times and came away pleased each time. Often the portions are huge and DH and I split a CS meal here and are still full.

They have the best counter service food in all of the WDW parks - always get the chicken, carrots and mashed potatoes. Great desserts as well if you are on the DDP.

I feel this is the best CS food on Disney property b/c there is a good selection of food (something for everyone). Great selection of desserts too. My husband had grilled salmon and I had Half Rotisserie Chicken with two sides (enough for me and my son)

a question on the chicken sides, can you get corn instead? I don't like carrots.

regarding the sides for the chicken...we got mash potato and a vegatable (but I forgot what type of vegatable it was) but you can choose your sides (I just forgot the chooses)

love Sunshine Seasons - so much variety (not the burger/nuggets!) and wonderful desserts.

It IS very busy, and noisy in there...but the food is worth it!

Click on my May 2009 review below, two separate reviews for Sunshine Seasons (with pictures) Page 3, post #45 and Page 8, post #106

I found your review, but can't get the dining reviews to open (the ones in red). Am I doing something wrong?

We were there in June! We loved it. DH and I shared the Asian Mongolian Ginger Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Garlic Udon Noodles, Broccoli, Chicken, Chile and Garlic Noodle Bowl, a side salad, Asian Chocolate Cheesecake and a Strawberry Shortcake. It was all excellent! :lmao:

Thanks Everyone for your replys!!!! I am so looking forward to eating at this place. We have been WDW many times and I do not know how I missed eating thier.:confused3
