I know there are always questions on Transportation about car services vs ME. We have not done ME and personally feel it is nothing more than a free Mears trip. After our very first visit to WDW in the early 90s, we vowed never to ride Mears again. I want to schedule my transfers on my time, not the schedule of a mass transit system.
Through the years we've utilized a few different car services and found most to be reputable and efficient. On the other hand, we've also been stranded once and experienced some less than stellar service.
This year we opted to utilize the services of Sunray Transportation. We chose wisely this year and had flawless transfer service. Our total roundtrip cost for a lovely ride in a brand new appearing black Expedition was $82 (discounted rate for mentioning another internet board) + tip. Roger was our driver and he was courteous, cautious, and thoroughly professional. We opted for a quick stop at Publix and were at our resort within an hour of wheels down. On the return trip, we left the resort at 4:30 p.m. and arrived at the airport with enough time to pass through security, have a Diet Pepsi, potty stop, and board the plane at 6:10 p.m.
