Summer Incentives

The next round of incentives beginning 5/30 will be:

  • Total voters
    56
  • Poll closed .
I bought 220 GFV points yesterday and can’t see a difference in my price if I went with the new deal Vs the offer yesterday.
$217-$12 per point discount is what I got.(also doing the $22 per point buy back and a referral got my points down to $180/point.

Can someone correct me if I’m wrong?
By my math, you paid $205 per point x 220 points for $45,100 before the point buy back and closing.

For the summer promotion, it should be $217 per point x 220 points = $47,740 before the discount. Subtract $4,170 savings = $43,570 before the point buyback .

So you could have them revise the contract and save $1,530.

Thank you Straulin! This is what my agent is saying as well.

With new incentives - the same add on I did for VDH is now about $100 more.

I had a snapshot of the cost when I did mines using the add-on tool and compared it with the cost now.
Can you share the snapshot? I just bought 150 VDH points 2 days ago. I'm a little confused on which one would be the better deal.

I just bought into VGF last Monday but would like to take advantage of this new incentive. My guide is on vaca until June 2nd which would put me outside of the 10-day window. Do I reach out to someone else? I did spread the payments out over 30/60/90 days so does the 10-day window matter?

Seems to me they are going after the existing owner to buy another 150. That to me looks like a sweet spot comparing old and new.

Old promotion at VGF was $10 pp on 150 points. Old value would have been $1500. New value on 150 points is $3585.

Magical beginnings stays constant at a $3300 discount.

Am I misreading this? If I am putting it together that prices out at savings of $45.90 per point on 150 points with magical beginnings.

If that’s correct the board sponsor must be starting drinking early today! $171 pp direct…. I think that’s a good deal right??? Maybe I’m missing something.

Interesting deals but complicated, nice to see the offer on OKW too, this should be permanently discounted to get more owners buying 2057 and they can gobble up 2042 on ROFR

Bought 150 VDH pts on Sunday. With the summer promo I would have paid $50 dollars more.

$3000 off old incentive vs new incentive $2950 off

LOL minimal difference for existing members at 150pts

This is correct.

Math on 150 points at VGF for existing members:
Old Promotion for 150 points:
$217/point = $32550
$10 Discount/Point = $1500
Magical Beginnings = $3300
Price = $32550 - $1500- $3300 = $27550
Price Per Point = 27550/150 = $185

New Promotion for VGF for existing members:

$217/point = $32550
Discount = $3585
Magical Beginnings = $3300
Price = $32550 - $3585 - $3300 = $25665
Price Per Point = 25665/150 = $171.10

Do you have to pay annual dues on these "free points"? If you do, it's really just backwards math to give you a discount.

This is correct.

Math on 150 points at VGF for existing members:
Old Promotion for 150 points:
$217/point = $32550
$10 Discount/Point = $1500
Magical Beginnings = $3300
Price = $32550 - $1500- $3300 = $27550
Price Per Point = 27550/150 = $185

New Promotion for VGF for existing members:

$217/point = $32550
Discount = $3585
Magical Beginnings = $3300
Price = $32550 - $3585 - $3300 = $25665
Price Per Point = 25665/150 = $171.10
This!
just talked to my guide to redo contract. Says it will be a couple of days before we get paperwork emailed and YES they are still doing Magical Beginnings!

That's the same math I came up with, and at 200 points, that drops to $169pp, right? Current ROFR prices at about $153pp so that becomes very, very tempting for the blue card. Someone tell me why I shouldn't bite!!!

Wouldn’t your magical beginnings increase to $4400 off at 200 points? $22 x 200

I would reach out to your guide. They can't close your contract until it's paid so they can probably fix it for you.
