I also saw this Summer deal on the Disney website. I wish that I hadn't looked! We have a trip booked for the end of April, with this code we would save over $400!!

Has anyone out there ever tried to change a package booked with Walt Disney Travel Co.? There is someting on our documents about fees to make changes. Maybe we could cancel/re-book with this new lower package price?

I am not sure what the wording is on the cost for making changes in your reservation. However, I must admit that I have made 6 major changes to our reservation without any fees being added. The CMs have been wonderful in helping me change the discount on my package, changing resorts 2 times (because of the price difference we were able to choose a moderate over an AS resort), and I have changed the type of room we have. I was never told I would have to pay to make the changes and I was never billed anything extra. Good luck in applying the change to your reservation and hopefully you will save some money!

A change fee is only applied if you have already applied final payment...here is the policy:

"For a change made 44 days or less prior to arrival or that results in a rate change, there is a change fee of $50 per package plus any change fees assessed by hotels or other suppliers.

For changes, the change fee must be paid in addition to any increase in rate resulting from the change."

They are great about changes before the final payment though...they want you to be happy!

Thanks for the heads-up on the code pigsty333!! After much run-around by Disney reservations I was able to use this code. They are sending me a check for $385!!
