Summer Block Party @ PI

Just read about this on the DVC Member website. Has anyone attended? Wondering if it's worth changing our schedule a bit to visit.

If you are planning to spend anytime at the pleasure island clubs, then it would be worth it to attend to get the free admission wristband for the clubs. There were arcade games for the kids and face painting and coupons for ice cream, crackerjacks and popcorn. If you have no children, then you should get there later, at around 6:30PM to at least enter your name in the raffle for the gift baskets.

Our group had a great time at the comedy club and the adventurers club. Something we probably would not have done on our own, had we not received the free club admission.

Thank you very much for the information. We are traveling with my sis 12 and bro 15. So we thought it would be fun to check out for an hour (especially since we are staying at SSR). It sounds like my sis and bro would have fun. We wouldn't be staying for the club scene though. Would you stay it's still worth it? Thanks again!!

So, if we go to the block party, we get a wristband that's good for PI admission all night? I noticed the hours for the block party were a little earlier in the evening than we usually like to get to the Adventurer's Club. But if we get a wristband good for the rest of the evening, awesome!

We opted for regular AP's this time instead of the premium's, figuring we'd rather pay as we go. That way we don't have to feel guilty if we don't go to a water park or PI.

We were traveling with another family and we made it an entire evening at PI. We had dinner reservations at Raglan Road for dinner after the block party. Afterwards, we walked to the comedy club and got on line for the show. Then we stopped by the adventurer's club. Everyone in the party from age 11 to 54 had a great evening full of laughs.

It was a change from the parks and a great evening of entertainment at both clubs.
