Suggestions for places to eat near Port Canaveral

We are flying into MCO today and sending the weekend near the port before leaving on the Dream Monday. I would like any suggestions of places to eat.

Do you like BBQ? My family enjoyed Mad Jack's Bar B Q Shack. There will be folks that will recommend Grill's and Fish Lips. We thought they were OK. The only thing that made them notable IMO was the view of the ships sailing away.

We enjoyed FishLips a lot - and there were no ships sailing away when we were there. We thought the food was good.

Another vote for Mad Jack's. Fishlips to say you were there, not a bad place, especially if there are a couple ships sailing out - extra bonus if one is DCL.

Rusty's is very good. I would NEVER eat at a place called Fishlips! I don't care how good the food is, that name is yucky, imho.

Kelsey's. Pizza and Italian, we have eaten there three times now.

For breakfast, head further down Cocoa Beach to a place called Simply Delicious.

We've eaten at A N.Y. Pizza House down in Cocoa Beach. Portions were huge and we liked the pizza.

We'd second Kelsey's and eat there whenever staying in the area pre-cruise.

Grills is very popular as well. Good, fresh fish... and a nice place to watch the cruise ships sail out.
