We're planning on being in MK on a Friday afternoon until closing. We would like a decent sit-down meal. I've eaten at CP, CRT. Characters aren't a 'must have'. How do you all feel about "Tony's" or Liberty Tavern?? We really don't want to leave the park since we would have been there for 2 hrs or so and will want to see Spectro that night.

I've never been to Liberty Tavern, but my family always enjoys Tony's. If you like Italian I would say Tony's for sure.

We love LTT. Have to eat here every trip. I prefer it to the Castle.:D

I really like Tony's. Great pizza and large portions of good pasta with one of the best Caesar salads around. Remember that Liberty Tree Tavern is a character meal in evenings with Roasted Turkey Breast, Carved Beef, Smoked Pork Loin Chops, Mashed Potatoes, Garden Vegetables, Herb Bread Stuffing, and Mac 'n Cheese served family-style. I would head here for the much better lunch menu served a la carte minus the characters.

I would definitely try Tony's. We have eaten there twice - tried to get reservations last time and they weren't serving dinner. Spaghetti and meatballs were the best and the calamari for an appetizer was great too. Try for a table in the sun room - you can see all the people on Main Street. We haven't eaten in Liberty Tree Tavern so I don't have an opinion on that one but we really enjoyed Tony's. It's a little on the expensive side but hey, you are on vacation. :p
