I went to the gas station on my way to class tonight. Apparently, the attendant had a personal vendetta against the bird splatter on my back window. Well, his frantic scrubbing of said remnants not only removed them; they also removed part of my Mickey family!!!

You can buy a whole new family in any color you want on Ebay for around $4. The sellers name is southeastvinylsetc and she ships within a couple of days-free. I have ordered several items from her and she is great!

Maybe it's time for a new family?;)

Attendant? Why would you have an....ooooh, you're from New Jersey... :p

I used to manage a major gas station for nine years. I got called all kinds of things. I'm not offended. I could probably write a book. I have so many funny stories. This is a fun thread to read. Jo:rotfl:

Yep....we're like 1 of 2 states that aren't trusted enough to pump their own gas.

Makes us look like IDIOTS when we go out of state, though. :headache:

Did you ask him to wash your window or was it part of his duties as a gas attendant? I don't think he meant to do it on purpose :confused3( or maybe he had something against those "mickey families" and wanted to show them who was boss;). Not trying to make lite of your situation, but he may have assumed that they were durable and that him putting his back into what he was doing was helping to go the extra mile for you, his customer. Either way, I hope that you can get another MF ( mickey family) and next time let him know that those stickers come off easily.

They must not be made well, to be rubbed off like that just from washing the window.

I've had a couple Kasey Kahne decals on the back window of my Blazer for years, they've never "rubbed off" during a car wash or washing the window at a gas station.

I'd get some better decals if I were you.

I didn't ask him to clean it. I usually do it myself. I was minding my own business and suddenly feel my car shaking. I look up and there he is, scrubbing away. I didn't even notice that my person had been messed up until after I pulled away. Guess I have to buy mew ones. ;)

Sounds like the attendant was just trying to do a thorough job. Decals shouldn't just peel off like that with just a window washing (unless he was using a razor to get that bird doo doo off), so I wouldn't blame the attendant but the manufacturer of your decals.

Yep. Born & raised in Jersey, and when my mother came out to IL to watch the kids one weekend, she had to ask someone for help. She totally embarrassed my then junior-high aged son. Come to think of it, though, if it wasn't that, it would have been something else! :rotfl2:
