I havent really used the thing much..... in fact I misplaced the charger for the darn thing for a couple of months...
BUt we are planning on using it on our upcoming trip so my BIL's DD can watch movies on the plane (she has Downs and movies, mostly Disney ones, seem to calm her......) So I order a new charger (150 bucks) and thing seem to be fine..... Then.....
Yesterday, after charging the darn thing over night I let my girls watch a movie on it...... Not 5 minutes into it the thing shuts down....... 4% battery life left...... started at 100%.......
Guess the battery is shot....... I recharged it and try again, and again the thing drains in minutes.....
I wonder if I keep charging and draining the thing will build back up again...... it is a lithobattery.... Thoughts?
Figureing that wouldnt work and relaly needed the darn thing for the plane ride I head to HP.com to see if I can locate a new battery for it....... FOr the life of me I cant find one...... I will call the hotline tomorrow, since I seem to do better with a real live person than the internet in cases like this..... but I fear the darn battery will cost around $150 bucks ::::::: sigh ::::::::::
So $300 bucks to get the stupid thing up and running and I dont really use it all that much........
:eyeroll:
