Stuck on Haunted Mansion Right Now

That's *exactly* the spot I was stuck at for about 20 minutes a couple years ago!

That's probably how long I have been stuck in the spot as well. "We've been dying... to have you" :rotfl2:

I'm feeling stupid... I've been on HM countless times, and I thought that Madam Leota was the floating disembodied head, and that the "Hurry baaaack" voice was from the bride who killed all of her husbands. Have I been wrong all of these years???????

We are the only 2 people who are correct! I agree with you! :goodvibes

Not sure how reliable the above site is, however when I went on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour the weekend of Valentine's Day we were able to ride this ride. We were prepped by our tour guide on things to look out for, and she mentioned the doll like figure at the end was indeed called Little Leota.

It's my dream to be stuck on Haunted Mansion badly enough to be able to walk off with the lights on. Seeing the attic or the graveyard scene in full lighting would be amazing!

We always get stuck on Spaceship Earth and Small World, seems like clockwork.

We were also "stuck" on Soarin for close to an hour because the mechanism that made one of the rows rise malfunctioned. Your feet fall asleep very quick sitting like that for a while

Been stuck in haunted mansion for 10 minutes. I think the spirits are looking for their 1000th soul. This is one of the best rides to be stuck on.

I think Small World would be the worst. I've also been stuck on the Everest roller-coaster, which sucked horribly.

@ 10:30 pm May 3rd ... We stopped 4 times.

So right...got stuck on HM this May...once in the piano room and once in the graveyard...so nice getting to spend extra time with the Happy Haunts..."dying" to get stuck in the attic. :)

And yes, SW is torture...at least they could turn the music off! ;)

We lucked out this trip. We rode BTMRR twice, then went straight to ride the Riverboat. As we were passing the BTMRR, we could hear the announcement that it was stuck and that CMs would come by to evacuate people. It was down most of the afternoon from what we could see. Timed it just right!

We got stuck in the Madam Leota crystal ball room a couple years ago. We didn't mind so much since it was July and we were hot with tired feet ;) Back in the 90s we were on the TTA and we actually had to exit the ride, ending up in some dark places as they lead us down and away from the ride. I still remember holding a little boy's hand through the dark because his mother had her hands full with her other children :upsidedow

We usually get stuck on HM at least once every trip and we actually look forward to it! Gives you time to really notice all of the little details that you usually miss during the usual ride.

Either you ride it over and over each trip or you are wasting your spectacular statistical "luck" on something far less rewarding than a lottery win! ;)

We got stuck on Carousel of Progress in November -- in the 1920's for four cycles. The volume kept getting quieter and quieter and the CM kept yelling loudly at people not to get up.

It was definitely a Carousel of No Progress. Whew! :)

As someone who has never ridden CoP as an adult, what is the ride structure? It's a show isn't it? Were the people getting up what was causing it to get stuck. The way I imagine it is either a circular rotating stage, or a circular stage with seats that rotate around it. Do you enter the ride at any point you want and stay on however long you want? Is it continually moving or something that stops and you can only get on once every 20 minutes?
