Brendan's father died at the weekend, so he has returned to NZ for the funeral & to see his family.

Apparently it was after a long battle with cancer & Brendan was told a few hours BEFORE dancing on Saturday.

Oh how sad

Oh, poor Brendan Such a shame, least he's gone back home though to be with his family. NZ is a long way though!

Lets hope Ian can work his magic on Michelle eh?

Wow! Ann!! So entertaining!

I didn't like Patsy this evening - but as always when I think a dancer is particularly bad the judges liked her.

Loved Felicity, Gavin is so arrogant and not a dancer, Michelle looked a lot better with a taller partner and lower shoes but my favourite tonight was Scott.

Once again, I loved the show.

Have to agree about Gavin especially when he ' joked' that he was better looking with a better body than the others. Bigger head comes to mind!!

I don't like Gavin and his attitude about others being better than him and not liking it but I am willing him to do better. I'm beginning to take a dislike to Peter Shilton, he reminds me of that guy last year who thought he was better than he was and couldn't understand the criticism (can't remember his name, think he was a soap star actor). Loved Scott and Natalie's dance. Also thought Michelle did better this week, could it be that Ian is a better teacher than Brendan?

Yes - the right person went this week.

As much as I'm loving Ann I think she should be the next to go - she's very entertaining but everyone else is so much better at dancing now.

I love Natalie's choreography but there is a wicked voice in the back of my mind that wonders how she would have got on with a weaker dancer.

Oh dear, not Pamela's night tonight.

But what great theming and costumes.

Once again I loved Scott. Kara was very good too (but who is she?).

I think Matt has peaked too soon - he doesn't seem to be improving at all.

I was positively cringing watching Tina - yuk! It was like watching my daughter - not right. Another cringe maker was Gavin, although he obviously loved parading around semi-clad!

As for Ann - very funny, but as I've said before time to go.

I can't wait to find out who goes tomorrow night.

Yes,time for Ann to go. Themeing was brill the make up was fabulous but wasn't keen on some of the costumes. Didn't like Tinas at all, I like the viennese waltz dresses to be big and floaty!!! I liked Karas phantom dance best tonight, just love the music

Wow what a night!

I loved Kara's Phantom of the opera (she's winning me over) and I could watch Matt until the cows come home. I think he is consistantly great. The technical level of his dancing his higher than others and he was leading last night!

It was not Pamelas night but I still like her.

I like Scott but I still can't warm to Natalie.

Brendan did have a point - when he was spatting with Len - there was a lot of Jive and no lifts - Others did lifts and were not penalised like it previous years???

I thought Kara & Artem, Scott & Natalie were both amazing last night.

I like Matt but agree that he doesn't seem to have improved much, hopefully he will soon though as i'd like to see him, Scott & Kara in the final.

Caught up today

My favourites from last night were Scott and Natalie, their waltz reminded me of the dancing ghosts in the Haunted Mansion, it gave me goosebumps!

I'm really getting bored of Anton and Ann, it's not fair on Anton at all, it's like they're wanting him to look stupid. He's a much better dancer than he's getting credit for. I really wish Ann had gone this evening. There's nothing more they can do with them now, the 'props' are running low.

I totally loved the theme of the evening, BBC hair and make-up did an outstanding job! Everyone looked fantastic, even though Jimi's eyes did scare me somewhat

I didn't like Len's comment to Brendan, even though I'm not Brendan's biggest fan. I thought it was out of order to tell him to show up each week etc, I believe he had good reason not to be at the studio last week and was very brave to come back so soon after his Father's passing.

Oh no, what happened to Ssssccccott tonight!!

Kara was stunning. Gavin much improved so I didn't understand why Craig gave him such a low score (quite glad Gavin didn't win 71 degrees North, though.)

I laughed and laughed at Ann - or more correctly Anton. Very disappointed that she didn't even attempt to dance this week.

I hope Ann goes - but expect Patsy and possibly Scott in the bottom two.
