My step daughter and her husband are going to MK Monday 9/19/2016. I see the park is open 9am to 11pm. How are the crowds in September? Do they need a touring plan? I know during the summer when the kids were little, we would get there at the gate 1/2 hr before the park opened and there would a long line waiting to get in. But there should be a lot less of a crowd in September.

Ehh...crowds should be lower than the summer, but true low crowd seasons have been harder to come by. Then again, this summer had lower attendance than usual, so that could be good. It shouldn't be too bad either way. I'd make sure they have their Fast Passes scheduled and they definitely want to take advantage of rope drop. I am always there 1 hour early, just in case (plus I love the Welcome Show). They should hit a few big must-do's right away, and things the build long lines that they might not want to wait in (like Peter Pan). I'd say they should have an idea of how they want to tackle it, but a very specific touring plan shouldn't be necessary (well, for me it never is, but I get why some want something like that).
