Strange Package:Received new Dreams book but no VGC point chart?!

Fed Ex just dropped off a DVC package, that I was sure was going to contain the anticipated VGC point charts. I opened it to find an updated Dreams book and a generic letter thanking me for my interest in DVC, signed by my DL guide who I purchased SSR from last year.

The book contains floor plans for BLT, VGC and the SSR Treehouses which was great! The pictures are beautiful.

The back pocket contained points charts for BLT and AKV, but not VGC?!

I'm trying to figure out why I received this, did anyone else?

I haven't received anything with the new 2009-2010 point charts in it. I have my 2009 trips planned, but it would be nice to have the 2010 charts so I can starting dreaming and planning again.

Yep! Received the same thing last week. I was all excited too because it came Fed Ex like our DVC contracts do. Sigh! At least there was some interesting info to look at . . . I have heard from other threads that the points chart is similar to what was leaked to DVC news.

I bugged my poor guide twice last week. I am waiting for him to call me this week. I don't think it is the guide's fault that DVC management waits until the last minute to get info out (it reminds me of how our local school district always seems to be surprised that another school year is coming up and a little info about things like calendars and stuff shouldn't be so last minute -- but that is another thread!) I recall something similar when AKV started selling but didn't pay attention because I wasn't part of the frenzy then.

I'm just happy to be able to buy in this economy after waiting over 2 years for this moment to arrive! If you do get a real points chart from DVC please post and share. Thanks and good luck.

Got the dream book today from my CA guide (who as a side note has not returned my calls regarding an add on and VGC). It came with what I assume is a standard letter about "thanks for your interest in DVC, you can become a member for only such and such an amount." I was a little confused, since we have been members since 2006 and bought from that guide, but don't mind having the book, my daughter likes the pictures!

no, yearly they send you the year's planner which contains that year's point charts. This is sent via USPS. The packages they sent us were the Dream books (books given to prospective NEW members), that's why we thought it strange. I'm thinking they are sending these to Founding Members to give them as much VGC info they can before the 25th...
