We have a Golden Retriever, Zoe who is 4 and a Papillon, Mojo who is 11mo. Mojo is obsessed with his little cat toy, a laser mouse. The thing has needed new batteries for months now(and I can't find replacements)so one day the boys were playing with their Nerf guns and I noticed Mojo freaking out/running around, he noticed the laser on one of the guns! So the boys like playing with him with the Nerf guns. Or the reflection from the light or sun on my phone, a mirror, front door when I open it, anything really. He starts barking and crying and runs around after it, it is so amusing and keeps him busy. When I put his little sweaters or t-shirts on him his mood instantly changes, he gets totally ticked off with me and will retreat to his crate and hang out there. He can't look more irritated when I hold him when he has his clothes on. As soon as I take it off he is kissing me again and loves to be held.
Zoe actually doesn't have any weird traits, she just takes all the abuse from a 7lb puppy! Whenever Zoe actually gets a toy in her mouth and all comfy on the floor to chew, in swoops Mojo to take it out. When they start to play used to just get on his hind legs and kind of bap the toy out of her mouth with his paws, now that she learned to just lift her head a little higher he has learned to naw her in the leg so she releases the toy. When we first got Mojo he would leave some food in his bowl after his two meals and for some reason she would never eat it! I was confused the first couple times I walked past his water bowl to see it completely dry, she'll drink from the small water dish and Mojo drinks from hers.
No babies in this house, they both chew up stuffed animals and would eat eyes, noses and stuffing if allowed! Now our Akita we used to have had a huge basket filled with stuffed babies and would never eat any part of them, just run around with one in her mouth.
