Stop Making Me Laugh Or I'll Pee My Pants! Go Back! I Lost My Shoe! Trip Report!

Well, I planned on starting one Wednesday or Thursday....

Its Friday, and I can't seem to find my trip report....

Oh, yeah, that's right, I haven't started it yet!
:scared1:

I have zero ambition, still not feeling all that good, and my wife and I are going away this weekend again, so gotta do some things before that...

So, looking like next week...

Sorry. I will get it, I promise!!!
:thumbsup2

I'm so sorry that you aren't feeling well. If you want my professional opinion.....I do believe you are suffering from a case of Disney withdrawals. :rotfl: Take two aspirins and start planning your next trip to Disney. It's just what the doctor ordered.

I hope that you and your wife have a great weekend together. Maybe that will make you feel better.:thumbsup2

Again, let us know when you start the report.

Hey Ginny!

Mama is doing better. She was a little dizzy today and her chin was tingling. I keep reminding her that it's only be a week and a day since she had surgery.

I didn't get over to your thread yesterday because work was pretty busy. I did post today and told you to give Austin a belated birthday hug for me. He's never too old for a hug!

I am glad Mama is doing better. Yes you have to remember it has just been a week. Time is going to be her friend.

I can assure you he still does hugs and kisses. Even in public. And I will give him one tonite from you. Thank you.

Wasn't that funny!

That was so funny. I'm like those guys. I would have gotten outta there so quick.

Lisa, that was hilarous...I'm sitting here laughing so hard; Dayne is laughing and both the tots just cause I was laughing....which made it funnier....:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:
thanks I needed that

BTW: the sun is just starting to peek out now!

I've been so busy reading my emails and catching up with my trip reports that I totally forgot to tell you guys all about our latest family drama.

My brother-in-law was admitted to the hospital last night. He is just 55 years old and has had several strokes. He has a lot of health problems other than the strokes....diabetes, cut off the ends of four of his fingers a couple of years ago, near blindness in one eye and more. Yet, he doesn't ever follow his doctors' orders until he gets in a really bad way. Then, he gets all frustrated because he isn't getting better. I feel sorry for him but then I don't feel sorry for him. I am sure you know what I am saying.

For the last week or so, he's been acting a little strangely. When they went to Branson, my sister and daughter noticed he wouldn't respond to things they said very quickly. But, it wasn't bad enough to get too upset over. He's always been a bit, change that....a big horse's patootie and you never know if he's just ignoring you or if something is wrong.

Last night, my sister came home and they ate dinner and watched television. He went to the back of the house and my sister heard some knocking around. When she called his name, he didn't answer. She went to check on him and she couldn't get the door open. Apparently, he was leaning on it. She got into the bedroom and he wouldn't respond to her. She called 911 and when the paramedics asked him his name and if he knew who he was, he couldn't answer them.

They took him to the hospital and did an MRI. They said they were looking for any sort of blockage. He has been throwing up all night long and is very disoriented.

This morning, they are saying that it looks like he aspirated (Spelling?) They are going to treat him like he has pneumonia and have the tubes down his nose. He wouldn't leave the tubes alone and kept trying to get out of bed so they have him tied down. He's also still very disoriented.

They are going to do another MRI some time today to try and see what's going on.

So, that's our latest family stuff.........it seems we can never catch a break!

Lisa, you just can't get a break can you. So sorry about your brother in law. Anyway you go about it, it's a scary thing. I'm sure it gives your mom worry also. I will certainly pray that everything goes well for him.

Ginny

I just read someone was dissapointed about primevilwhirl. (SP) You have to treat it like you would a tilt a whirl then you can really get it spinning it also helps if you have the larger people on the outside. NOW LEAN!!!!!! Wheeee:wizard:

Jen,

You're pictures are always so good. I think my favorite is the one with the tongue out.

By the way, speaking of pictures....do you have any pictures of your new niece? We would love to see them.

I took some, just haven't put them on the computer yet. I visted again today and she is just so darn cute.

Sorry to hear about your BIL. when it rains, it pours.

Love the video! :lmao:

I'm sorry to hear about your BIL and hope he recovers well.

I love the AK photos because that park is one of my favorite things at WDW!

Thanks for the "BOO," by the way! I put the pumpkin in my signature but I don't think my signature is showing up yet.

Edited to add: Duh, the signature showed up!

Oh, Lisa. Between you and Nicki (of MickeyNicki), you two have had your hands full the last couple of months. I know what you mean about your brother and being a "big horses patootie"--I have one of them too. I hope they come up with results soon and he is feeling better.

Sorry to hear about your BIL. Hope everything is OK.

I never even noticed that the lady on Dinosaur was Mrs. Huxtable. That's kind of funny!

sorry to hear about your Brother in law, hope they figure out what's going on and he gets better quickly.

I haven't been on Dinosaur the last 2 times I was there, I might have to try it again next time.

sorry to hear bout ur BIL,its always so sad to see a family member ill. My family isnt too well now, my grandpa is in the nursing home and he is not eating now and were trying to encourage him to eat but he is not listening and is just giving up and the doctor said if he keeps losing weight, not eating, he could go any day now:(

Morning all,

Thanks for all the prayers for my brother in law. I know I said he was a horse's patootie (and he is) but I don't know life without him. My sister is 12 years older than me and got married when I was just five. They dated for years before that so, like I said, I don't know life without him.

Friday and yesterday were awful. They couldn't keep him still long enough to do an MRI. They couldn't give him too many meds to call him down either because of his week condition.

Yesterday, was very bad on my sister. She has accepted that he won't be getting better but it's still hard. He hasn't spoken since being admitted in the emergency room but they know he can hear them because he will open his eyes when someone comes in the room.

Yesterday afternoon, the nurse told the family that he couldn't continue to breath as heavily as he is without doing more damage to his heart. His heart rate was extremely fast and his blood pressure was pretty high. They made the decision to not put him on life support and had to go through the heart wrenching procedure of signing the documents.

As of about 10:30 last night, his heart rate was very slow. They didn't say if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Even if it's a good thing, I can't see it improving the overall situation.

My mother is just beside herself which she doesn't need just a week and a half after artery bypass surgery. I've been doing her housework and running errands for her and tried to get her out of the house to keep her mind off of the things but she wouldn't leave the house for fear of missing a phone call. Yes, we have cell phones but she doesn't care.

I just couldn't stand it anymore so we took Hunter to eat out and to the movies last night. Had to get my mind elsewhere. We ran into three of Hunter's friends at the movies and he got to sit with them. We were able to visit with the mother and grandmother of the kids and it was nice to just chit chat.

Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in 3D was great. I just wish the screens were bigger so we could get the 3D effect more. But it was still nice to get out. That being said, I had my cell phone on vibrate and in my hand the entire time just in case somebody called.

I have a grocery run to make for Mama today but I will be back to catch up with everybody later on.

Thanks for listening to me ramble.

Lisa

 Lisa, I'm so sorry to hear the news...I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers. I hope your mom allows you to help her think of other things during this rough time.
