Stitch's Great Escape

We did this "attraction" on our last trip. It was awful. Never again. We had never done Alien Encounter, but it had to be better than this. The only good thing about this is that we used FastPass so we didn't have to wait.

Also, it didn't help that the cast member who was loading the preshow room was pretty rude. She really acted like she didn't want to be there. Ironically, of all the CMs we encountered on our trip in June, she was the only one who wasn't great.

Have to agree with all the horrible and waste of time and space comments. I just rode this last week on my first disney trip and came off thinking i should have spent that time on another ride.

My 16 yo DS and I loved this ride. The story could be tightened up a little but over all We enjoyed it. Oh well to each his own.

I agree with Johnfish. My DS5, DS9 and I liked Stitch's Great Escape. We admit that we would not have liked to have waited in a 70 minute standby line for it, but we thought it was fun. We laughed through most of it.

I thought it was pretty cute, I love Stitch. My 9 yr. old dd LOVED it though, we went on it 3 1/2 times this last trip (it broke down in the middle one time).

I thought it was soooo dumb! Wish I would have gone on Buzz Lightyear again instead of this.

I should have paid closer heed to the warning about it scaring some children. My DD5 insisted we ride it as she likes Stitch. Once we got in the simulator, it got very very loud, she started screaming and crying. They turned out the lights and she cried more. I was able to get my hand over to hold hers to try and reassure her, but she absolutely hated it. She didn't understand why Stitch was soo mean to us...I personally didn't like the burrito smell or some of the other antics. We won't be riding it again even when she is older. Good thing it was only a 5 minute wait when we went.

DH and I rode it two weeks ago. Honestly, we didnt' think it was horrible. We'd certainly skip it if the lines were long (we had under 5 min wait) but it was amusing...!

I loved alien encounter-so maybe i'll still give it a shot next week. :Pinkbounc  :hourglass

DS9 and myself did "SGE" last week for the first time. I liked it. I thought it was amusing (even the chili dog), but DS9 was terrified. I admit he is noth that brave. He just has gotten to the point where he rides the Haunted Mansion, but is still a little scared when going in the streching room, but he said he would never do Stitch again. If you have fast passes or a walk on, I would do it, but I would never wait more that 15 minutes for it.

I went on it last week, and I liked it. I was expecting to hate it after reading about it here for so long, but I thought it was cute. I wouldn't wait in a very long line for it, but I'll do it again, for sure.
