Stinkeye!!! Stinkyeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stink Eye ! ! !!

Thanks gals!

Breezy - How are things going for you & your DH?

Not well, but things are looking up - he has multiple job offers from ins. companies. and just has to decide on the right one. Right now it's betw. Prudential and Hartford, but State Farm has mentioned wanting him too.

Praying for discernment. And then that he passes his series 6. ;)

Nice cake!

Did you guys like the picture texting? :goodvibes

I got lazy a few times - but I think you got the bulk of how it was going. :thumbsup2

It was more crowded than I expected. I chose that week, avoiding my normal 'winter' week, thinking it would be better. I was wrong. Next time, it's back to the old dates.

Lots of cheerleaders too. :confused3 I thanked Jesus, Buddah, Allah and anyone else that I wasnt in the cheerleader full limo on RnRC. When that thing took off, my ears bled a little bit.

The new parade is just old stuff, vamped up - but lots - o - rainbows!!! I think I texted something rainbowey, to you. :woohoo:

All and all - very nice trip. :dance3:

Hey girls!

Angel - nice cake! Right up Cat's alley.....

Xena - Aren't you worried about crowds at Disneyland during Spring Break? DD's Spring Break is at the end of March and I'm scared to go anywhere crowded where I have to wait in line. That's why we are looking at Mexico which I still have not booked! I'm waiting for a last minute deal. :rolleyes1

So, how is everyone?

I survived the layoffs at work, for now. Whew! Unfortunately, I do know some of the people who were let go. :sad1:

Good news on your job!

I would have been worried about the crowds, but I called to get rooms at the Grand Californian and they had every kind of room available. So I kinda thought that might indicate lower volume. Also, our kids spring break is really early, late March into April this year, so that might help. Also, I don't really get too freaked out by crowds. I just go with the flow and I'm so happy to be there. I just hope it's warm weather!

Nice cake!

I've been there during cheer competitions too. Crazy!

:scared1: eeek....cheerleaders...I would have been glad not to have on that limo either...
sigh...I wish they had RnRC in Disneyland...21 days :cool1:

And Im having post Disney Blues and purchasing regrets.

Why didnt I get this, and that, and that and this......

And I am having the 'yesterday at this time I was _____________' thoughts... I hate those. :headache:

Glad things are looking up for you guys! At least he has some choices. :thumbsup2 That's more than a lot people can say!

It was more crowded than I expected.

I was cursing you everytime you texted me while I was sitting at work.

DH kept asking who the heck keeps texting you!

It was crowded? Some of your pictures looked like no one was there. That stinks! Was it more crowded than free dining?

You are way braver than me. DD's spring break is the same time as yours. :goodvibes

That is exactly what I always do! I'm glad to know my weird Disney things are done by others too! I have this Disney clock in my bedroom and we had to take the batteries out because it ticks so loud it keeps us awake. (I could move it to another room, but I just haven't) So I keep it set at the time that our plane landed at MCO on our most recent trip. Weird!

We have a cheerleading ad at the bottom now! Funny!

I agree with you about the merchandise. I wish it was more fun to see stuff. I always go look and feel slightly dissapointed that it's mostly the same. It doesn't matter that you go too much. I go once a year or every other year and it's still the same. Or it might be slightly different, but I'll say this is the one they had before only they changed the character, or the color. Nothing changes too much.

It was crowded - yeah. I took pics when no one was around, but yeah - it was more crowded than free dining. It kinda stunk. I dont think free dining is crowded though - do you?

Ummm - ToT was 30 + minutes. I never ever ever have had to wait for that ride, ever. Ive always gone right on through that line, with no problems. I had to use fastpasses this year. Which then threw us for a loop with RnRC. So we rode Single Rider - which still was backed down the incline.

Ummmm.... Test Track single rider was a good 20 minute or so, wait.

Splash had no wait, but it was chilly in the evenings (when we were near it to ride)

It wasnt awful - no where near terrible - but just more than I was used to.

Soarin ran out of FP's (which Ive never seen happen) and I should have known better than to sleep on the MGM day, cuz Toy Story ran out of them, too, (we never got on that). But in September - i did the same thing - and still got on TSM, *twice* with FP's, in the same day.

I dunno - just more than I was used to .

I know what you mean about not being used to it. We used to ALWAYS go in January for low crowds and good DVC points. Since our oldest is a slacker in school (sorry Nate, but you know you are!) we won't take him out of school anymore. So it is always peak season for us now. I handle it better than DH. The kids do fine usually with anything. We just get really organized in the morning and then take a break and maybe a nap in the early afternoon.

Well.....I'm done. I'm ready to go back. :lmao:

I've worked enough today. :rolleyes1

Six more months.....six more months.....six more months....

SUN - Did those cookies come in?? :confused3

**Meant to tell you guys something **

I thought it was cool..... you know how if you use Magical Express, you normally have to go down to that stand and 'check in' like you do at the airlines, but at that desk by luggage? Show your ID, all that jazz?

They dont do that anymore. My boarding passes were hanging on my door, the morning I was leaving. So, if you werent checking any luggage, and were going straight from your resort to the ME, you could just leave.

In our case, we just had to go down to the luggage folks and ask them to hold our luggage for a few hours. But thats it. I had my boarding passes already.

Very nice 'plus', IMO.

Rumor has it they come in on Saturday so I should have them sometime next week.

I dont think free dining is crowded though - do you?

I've never been when it is crowded. Early May and late Sept are the only times I've been. I did think this past Sept was more crowded then the previous September. I think it all depends on the day & park you are at though. We wanted to do MK on our last night which was a Saturday night and it was open til midnight. Never again! It was packed. We couldn't even find a spot to watch Wishes.

That stinks it was crowded for you. Hopefully, Sept will not be. I don't think we are going to go this Sept though. I still need to cancel my reservation.

You called him Nate. :scared1: You usually call him Imagineer 4 life. :lmao:

I threw around posting this one.... I didnt want to make anyone TOO jealous, but I tossed all caution to the wind.

Check out that necklace. :cool1:  :thumbsup2 You know you love it.

Cancel your reservation? Really? That sucks!

Let's see, I think the months I have been there in my life are Jan, March, April, June, July, August. I think.

You're right, I did call him Nate, but the teen board knows his name anyway so I didn't give it away.

Facebook'ers - pictures are up. :)

I'm going to check it out.

I love the necklace. My DH thinks that since you guys call me Xena people probably think I am sort of rainbow kind of girl if you know what I mean. I guess if they don't know why you started calling me that it would make them wonder....

I honestly didnt know Xena was a Xena until you guys pointed it out to me. IN fact I think it was your husband.... Are we sure Xena (the real Xena) likes rainbows???

Im going to look.

Okay - Xena the CHARACTER is a Lesbian - well, had a rainbow romance with another character on the show.

The girl who plays Xena - Lucy Lawless is not a rainbow'er and is married with 2 kids.

We still are calling you Xena. ;)
