Still Sassy after all this time!

Congratulations Yoda!!!

Moving all done and internet as well. Thanks for the congrats to Cole

Tricia,
I sure hope she figures out what she wants soon. Am glad you have faith in her.

Strange thing happened yesterday on my way to work...I work directly across the street from the Post Office. Someone placed a briefcase in a garbage can. A janitor called the police to let them know a suspicious package was found. They closed all the streets near the post office which means I couldn't get to work. The bomb squad was called in and long story and three hours later it turned out to be nothing. They just had old papers in the brief case. I'm sure because of the tragedy in Boston they were being very careful. Thankfully it turned out well. Gotta be careful with all the crazy people out there.

So sad about the explosion in Waco, TX. :worried: My heart breaks for all those effected. All we are hearing is such tragedies.

This warmed by heart . My family are BIG Boston Red Sox fans. Always have been and I don't even know anyone in Boston. Since we love the Red Sox you just sort of don't like the Yankees. When I saw the banner that they hung outside of Yankee Stadium and how they played Sweet Caroline at during their ball games well I now have a new appreciation for them.

Judi, we are going on the 25th. Western has the apartments on campus too. They are pricey, but the convenience is worth it. They are much bigger than I expected too with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Another plus is if someone moves out the remaining roommates aren't responsible for that persons rent. Did you get right on changing the party date? If not I can't imagine why.:snooty:

Tricia, I'm glad it turned out to be nothing. It certainly sounds suspicious though, who puts a briefcase into a garbage can like? I don't want this to be the world we live in and its inspring to see all the wonderful things people are doing in the aftermath.

Mel, glad you got moved okay!

Well, Mother Nature has decided to give us rain instead of snow this week. Way too much rain. I'm very thankful we live on a hill and haven't had any water problems. Neighbors haven't been so lucky. The town I grew up in has been hit hard as well as the Grand Rapids area. Tomorrow it looks like we may be back to snow and ice. Such a strange spring!

Yes it has returned. I am going with a sided tent so I can heat it if needed.

Why yes indeed Becca, I changed...

the time for the DJ so everyone can party later. :dance3:

Tricia, I am so glad they took that issue seriously. I am proud of the person who took the time to call. Glad y'all are safe.

So sad for Texas. Trying to understand what those 2 in Boston were thinking. One uncle stated that the oldest got what he deserved.

Have a good weekend!

Judi~ Snow again! :crazy2: What the heck is going on? Clearly my memo didn't get seen by the right people. We actually got rain today and a cold front. Now don't laugh but we are in the high 50's low 60's. I know it may sound like spring to some of you but we have already been in the 80's. Strange I tell ya.

I had lunch today with two of my best High School friends. It was so nice catching up. It's been far too long.

Anyone have special weekend plans? Other than going to the grocery and Sam's Club I've got nothing.

Yes Tricia, snowing as I type. Did Great Wolf Lodge this weekend and some shopping. Have spent days working on the unchanged date open house. Prom week so nail were done tonight. 1st grade so much easier and cheaper.

Be grateful for boys.

:wave2:

Judi you are so right on the boys comment. I have two girls and one boy. By far girls are so much more expensive! :scratchin I guess we just need more stuff.

Slow day at the office today. We had some terrible rain storms pass through our area and the phones have been out for a couple of hours.

/
Sunny and 70 degrees and on prom night to boot. How lucky can we get. Nails and hair are done. Hard to believe she will be 18 tomorrow. Enjoy them while you have them.

Bec, how was Wicked? Tricia you are so right. We do Need more, or is that Want, well I'm stickin' with need.

May all have a great weekend.

Happy Birthday to Cole! How was the Prom?

I made it all through winter without getting a cold and now that spring is here I've got one. :crazy2: I felt horrible this whole weekend. Just kind of slept on and off. Not being able to breathe through your nose it the worst. I'm back at work today still not feeling great but definitely better than the weekend. Another two days and I'll be back to normal. :thumbsup2

Kendall get's her Senior Ring tonight. :goodvibes She's so excited! The Seniors last day at school was last week. They graduate on Monday. Bring on the new Seniors I guess because ring day is tonight. Sounds kind of silly...ring day at night but whatever here we go with the expensive year coming up. You know all about that one Judi.

Still waiting to hear from LSU for Kelsie. Another two weeks and we should know something.

Have a great Monday Sassies! :wave2:

Tricia, Hope you feel better soon! Congrats Kendal. Senior year is so much fun .(at least that is what I keep hearing) 14 school days left here for seniors. Prom was great.

The pictures are slowly making it my way.

So nice the kids still print them out for us non-face book old folk. :hippie:

Good week to y'all.

Have a laugh today

Male or Female? You might not have known this, but a lot of non-living objects are actually either male or female. Here are some examples:
FREEZER BAGS:
They are male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.
PHOTOCOPIERS:
These are female, because once turned off; it takes a while to warm them up again. They are an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can also wreak havoc if you push the wrong Buttons
TIRES:
Tires are male, because they go bald easily and are often over inflated
HOT AIR BALLOONS:
Also a male object, because to get them to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under their butt.
SPONGES:
These are female, because they are soft, squeezable and retain water.
WEB PAGES:
Female, because they're constantly being looked at and frequently getting hit on.
TRAINS:
Definitely male, because they always use the same old lines for picking up people.
EGG TIMERS:
Egg timers are female because, over time, all the weight shifts to the bottom
HAMMERS:
Male, because in the last 5000 years, they've hardly changed at all, and are occasionally handy to have around.
THE REMOTE CONTROL:
Female. Ha! You probably thought it would be male, but consider this: It easily gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know which buttons to push, he just keeps trying

Kelsie got her acceptance letter in the mail today from LSU for Dental Hygiene school. She starts in August. So proud and so glad the waiting is over.

Judi are you really planning an open house? Are you moving? Maybe you are a real estate agent and I wasn't aware of it?

Happy Birthday Judi and Cole!!!

Congrat Tricia! I bet she is excited to get in. And you must be a proud mama!

Hmmm, will Moscato work too Judi?

Things have been so busy here! Swimming 5 nights a week, band concerts, school concerts, 8th grade graduation(I never had an 8th grade graduation), 5th grade desert and field trips. I'll be happy when school is done!

How did Cole like Wicked? Is she excited to be graduating soon? I still haven't received my open house invite, just saying.:snooty::rotfl2:

Happy Saturday

I was wondering if tequila would work. Tricia, Cole and I share a birthday, so I really don't have one anymore, but thank you both for the good wishes.

Tricia, up here for graduation we have open houses. Any and everyone can come. Since Becca needs a personal invite...

Becca, Please come to Cole's open house, May 25th starts at 1pm. DJ starts a 3pm, karaoke starts after enough of open bar has been consumed.

I know all about end of school year. Concert here is not until the 29th so Cole has to go back after graduation to play. This is her last week of school. Well sorta.

ETA you must be 21 or you get mocktails, piñata, squirt graduation ducks etc.
