Me, in a nutshell -
1) I have recently fallen in love with artichokes.

I was the 6th grade spelling bee winner and competed at the regional bee where I lost on the word "syzygy".
3) I love Nana's Cucina Guacamole chips.
4) My DH is a far better Disney planner than I am, but I had to break him in because he knew nothing of Disney when we met!
5) I would love to have a 20th anniversary re-commitment ceremony at WDW.
6) After I turned 30, I began to get carsick if I rode in the back seat of the car.
7) I attended a YWCA summer camp called Camp Iva from ages 8-12 and it gave me some of the best memories of my life.
8) Of all places on earth, I am most comfortable in water.
9) I asked my DH out on our first date minutes after breaking up with my then fiance. We have been together for 20 years, married for 14.

My husband did not realize before we got married that I was not the housekeeper he had imagined.
12) I waver in and out of practicing religion, but am very concious of the spiritual side of life.
13) I love, love, love fine paper but write few letters these days.

Someday I will travel to Greece and eat feta cheese 24/7.
15) I prefer modern, abstract art to more concrete forms.

I enjoy going to the movies alone.
17) I rarely read fiction; the exception is Harry Potter.

19) I am a reality TV junkie - the baser, the better!
20) To this day, I cannot drink coffee due to one night in college featuring a bottle of ouzo and a bag of chocolate covered espresso beans.

I am a night owl and both of my boys have inherited the same trait!

23) My writing is far funnier if composed after 10 pm.
24) I often have trouble keeping my spirits up during the holidays.

I am ever so surprised at how attached you can be to ladies you met on the Disboards but have never (or rarely) met in real life.
Okay, so get working. Enquiring minds want to know! I know we did this at least once, but I think that was way back on the thread when we were Nothings so we need to update it with sassy information.
Before I make my list, I wanted to tell Wilma that I agree or have something in common with the red ones! I won the school spelling bee in 7th & 8th grades. The regional bee in 7th, I was sick as a dog and missed "separate," much to the chagrin of my parents and principal. In 8th grade, (after being forced into studying for the bee by an overzealous nun), I purposely misspelled "judgment" in order to make it on time to a sleepover. Priorities!!!
Ok. My list:
1. I am an insane bookworm. If there is a book in the house that I havent read, everything else will suffer. Children will eat peanut butter & jelly for dinner, laundry will go undone. It is a problem, but at least its not crack. Thats what I tell myself in order to get by!
2. I have mangled feet from my years in ballet.
3. I am desperately jealous of professional ballerinas and wish I wouldve continued my studies.
4. I drink entirely too much Diet Coke/Coke Zero.
5. I dont know what I want to be when I grow up.
6. I inadvertently married someone who hates traveling, when that is one of my biggest goals in life. Oops. He also hates the beach, and I wanted to be a marine biologist, and live on a boat in the ocean. ????
7. I really wish food didnt taste so good, and that I didnt spend so much time thinking about it.
8. I really, really despise drama. This is why I had mostly guy friends growing up, and why I quit participating in Reeces school PTO. It was like high school all over again.
9. I love sauerkraut, but the smell is nauseating.
10. I love the smell of coffee, but the taste
I have to be near exhaustion to drink the stuff.
11. Though I am definitely girly (makeup, cultural activities, etc) I am also very much a tomboy. Love sports (playing more than watching), action movies, and outdoor activities.
12. I love gardening, but I manage to kill everything.
13. I love to cook, but not for my family. Their pickiness and varying tastes drive me to madness. So, we eat out a lot.
14. I am a sucker for men with accents, especially those from Scotland.
15. I cannot for the life of me find a properly fitting bra, but Im paralyzed with fear at the thought of a specialist groping and measuring me.
16. I am hopeless at video games, but will kick some butt in board games!
17. My favorite color is periwinkle, but I love all shades of blue and purple.
18. I spent 13 years in Catholic school, and was an altar girl for 8 of those years. It was overkill, and it may take me another 10 to want to start going to Mass again.
19. I do not enjoy country music, though some of the crossover artists are ok. Otherwise, I like everything except gangster rap & death metal. My ear drums thank me.
20. I am a smarty pants, and the more I like someone, the more I pick on them. Its very third grade.
21. My mothers family is an enigma. We dont know/have contact with most of them, and sometimes it really makes me sad.
22. I cannot wait for the day that my kids sleep past 7 a.m.
23. I also wish I could slow down time, because they are growing up too quickly!!!
24. I cant watch Oprah anymore without a box of Kleenex. I am growing soft!
25. I like stuff I suppose, but sometimes get overwhelmed by consumerism. I think I would be happy living in a shack on a beach, as long as I had my family, the necessities, and a public library nearby.
Today we took the girls ice skating (I did not ice-skate, I have never been able to even stand up in ice skates!), then went to dinner at Panda Express, and then to Target.
