Still Sassy after all this time!

About 250 miles. Cruise on the Detroit river tonight too.

8th grade prom, trip, all stem from kids not finishing high school up here. 80 kids on this trip. Let's hope 80 in 2013.

I hope they do too!

School at 6AM
Bus leaves at 6:30
Sack lunch 10AM
Holocaust Memorial 11:15-1:30
Detroit Zoo 2:30-4:45
People Mover 5:40-6:00
Dinner at Greek Town and Detroit River boat tour 6:00-10:00
Arrive at middle school (hotel) 10:30
Showers then lights out.
Busy day!

Hey Sassyville! We've been a quiet bunch lately.:guilty:

Meli, glad to see you!

Thanks!

The people mover reminds me of the monorail at Disney. Its on a track above the ground and it moves through downtown Detroit. Its kind of fun actually, but not after a Red Wings or Tigers game, way too crowded.

I always see the Bonnet Creek sign and wondered what its like in there. Take lots of pictures! That will be fun staying all together. Plus having a kitchen will be handy.

I totally forgot you were near Detroit. I have a friend thats an ER doctor in his 2nd year of res. at the area hospitals up there.

TGIF Ladies!

We're back into the inspection process again. Radon today, home & termite on Tues. I'm a little nervous about termite. We've never noticed any issues, but my neighbor 3 doors down just happened to be outside at the right time last week, saw them swarming outside her house, called the pest control comp. and is now $1100 poorer.... :scared1: I'm hoping her house is just tastier than mine!

Going house hunting tomorrow. That will either be very fun, or intensely stressful, depending on Ryan's mood and our ability to agree on a house!

Hiya Mel! Glad things are going well for ya. We've missed you! How are the dogs doing?

Judi, did Cole have fun on her excursion?

Tricia, are you getting pumped for your trip yet? I can't wait to hear all about WDW at this time of year.

Bex-- have you gone into hockey overload mode at your house yet?

Hola to all the other Sassies!

Good Morning Sassies and Happy Friday!

Shannon you are having the best luck with your house. I hope the inspections go well. In my neighborhood some houses have been on the market for months and months. Two offers so soon is just great. :thumbsup2

Well the wedding is tomorrow about an hour away and we'll be spending the weekend in the same hotel as the reception. Mark is meeting the kids and I there because it's not to far from his work. This morning the girls and I are getting our nails done then heading over. Poor Colin has to sit through all this girly stuff. Thank goodness for Nintendo DS. :lmao: I'll be MIA until Sunday but will check in when we return.

Hi Sassies! I'm getting ready to head off to work. Now that the floors are paid for I need to earn some money for new landscaping. It won't take nearly as long though.

Tricia, hope you have fun at the wedding.

Shannon, did the inspections go well?

Judi, did Cole make it home safe and sound?

Hi Bonnie, Angie, Squiddy, Wilma, Julie, Meli, Kimmy and anyone I inadvertently forgot.

Where the heck is Grumpy Pirate? Our thread has been short of rum for awhile!

Yes, Becca she got in the Red wing mess :rotfl2: Storms ::yes:: and it's still raining.

She had a wonderful time. It was the Holocaust Memorial that touched her.
Tears still flow as we discuss it. There is no way to explain such evil to a child.

All in all she had a great time.

Hopefully you found a decent house & that the termites didnt' like your house.

Puppies are good :)

Greetings from St. Pete Sassy ladies!
Hi! Hope you are having fun on your vacation.

Happy Sunday

Mel, you're getting better at this than I am. :thumbsup2

Tricia, Hope you all had a great time last time.

Squiddy, St. Pete when it is pouring down rain here, just hurts my inner well being :rotfl2:

Shannon, shop house via web, you can rule a bunch out that way. If you pass the tests, must you do them for every buyer?

FOP is MIA and Bonnie is with her.
Becca are you dressed in red yet, is Chet :teeth:

Julie, work days left?

Cole took video on this trip, with the camera, new lesson for me, how to transfer to computer. Don't laugh, I've always used the printing dock.
Did I mention, we can't find the manual. Any and all help, I would welcome.:rotfl:

Hey Gang!
Yes, Judi, I have ONE work day left before leaving Wednesday. :cool1:

Atlas still refuses to go into his dog house. He'll chew on it, but absolutely will not go in. :confused3 I put treats in it too...didn't matter... Anyone else have a dog that wouldn't use its house??? He spends his nights in with us, but non-rainy days he is on a run and we bought him a very nice cedar dog house.

I hope everyone has a great Monday tomorrow!!!

At first glance I thought maybe the rum from Saturday night was still with me.

Good morning sassies.

Colin has a "Rite of Passage" ceremony this morning. My baby will be leaving Elementary School and heading to Middle School next year. He needs to dress up all fancy to get his cerficate. His dressing up means I need to dress up which means three days out of four I had to wear shoes that aren't flip flops. This SAHM doesn't like that too much. :rotfl: Last week of school!!!!!!!!! Exam week as well for the girls. I guess you need to take the good with the bad.

:bride:The wedding was wonderful. My niece looked so beautiful, they leave today for two weeks in Hawaii. We had a second line with a brass band and police escorts from the church to the hotel where the reception was. It was only a three block walk(downtown) but oh so fun. We danced the night away, had a little to much rum but woke up with no headache so all is good.

Now that the wedding if over I'm officially in Disney mode. I'm not sure if I mentioned that my mom and dad are coming with us for a few days as well. They really aren't big fans of Disney but want to be with all the family so I'm happy they'll be there.

I hope you all had a great weekend. Now I get to play catch up to a little of this :laundy:.

Good morning Sassies! It frosted here last night and I almost planted the garden yesterday. Glad I was feeling lazy and made a run to Sam's Club instead.

Julie, I think you're going to have to get in the dog house to show Atlas how cozy it is.:lmao: Have a great trip!

Tricia, how was the wedding? Did you have a relaxing weekend with no housework?

Judi, at least the Wings won and everyone was in happy land! Only 7 games more to win till they can hoist the cup!!! I'm kind of hoping for a rematch of last years finals, but Brian told me I'm not allowed to say that yet cuz I'll jinx them!

Squiddy, how was the trip?

Bonnie, you confuzzled me and I had to flip my computer over to read it!

Wilma, where the heck are you?

Angie, same thing!

Grumps, glad you stopped by with some libations.

Meli, what's new?

Shannon, how were the inspections? Did you find your dream house yet? My dream house would have a button to press for self cleaning, especially the bathrooms!

Good morning, Sassy Ladies! Greetings from Wilma Land!

Sorry to have dropped off the face of the earth, but there were good reasons, I swear! Last week my school continued it's downward spiral toward a teacher walkout. We had a meeting with the board and the staff relations committee to tell them what had been going on with my boss (too many unpleasant instances to mention) and they were VERY SURPRISED! They were also surprised to hear that we were all willing to not return next year if something wasn't done about it. Well, when they told our head honcho about it she turned into an Ice Princess and it's been quite tense and frosty at school. Quite a hostile environment, I'd say. So, if things don't improve pronto, I may choose to be unemployed.:thumbsup2

Shannon - I have missed so much - are you doing more inspections because it's a new contract? Did the first one fall through? Good luck finding a self cleaning dream home - do you think you can find one with automatic bar service from 5 to 10 pm?;)

Judi - Was this a class trip for Cole? It sounds so elaborate - I am impressed!

Tricia - I love weddings! Did you dance the hokey pokey? I had a teaching partner once who put the kibosh on any type of pokey. No Reindeer Pokey, no leprechaun pokey, no snowman pokey. What a drag. So, I always hoped that each wedding I went to had a pokey opportunity!

Becca - Frost is not allowed in May. You'll need to speak to the management and see if they can give you a refund for each frosty day you must endure in May. How are the boys? When does school end for them?

Julie - I have no dog-house tips, but I can certainly send Wally over if you need someone to bark at it. Or mark it. The joys of adolescence!

Bonnie - being able to read upside down is an essential teacher skill! How else would we be able to get through story time? But you are right, it is sassy!:goodvibes

Squid - Greetings from Non-St. Pete! Hope you are having a great visit!

Angie - What's up, roomie? How's the MIL situation? Did you ever see Pulp Fiction? Remember the Bonnie Situation? I hope your MIL Situation is not like that!:lmao:

Well ladies, it's time to split. Wally needs his morning constitutional and I am called to duty. Have a great day!

Happy Sunday

Find the cable the camera came with & plug it in. Or put the card in a card reader attached to your computer.

Aww. Your baby is growing up yay :)

Glad the wedding was nice!

Yay Disney mode!

I hope something is done for your school for everyone's sanity sake.

Working hard here. We're got our first time home buyer's credit today so once it clears - I'll officially be out of credit card debt! Now to start furnishing the house with that money that isn't going towards them anymore.

Meli :worship: I found two slots, so I think I might be getting somewhere cause I do have my computer manual. :lmao:

Thank You

Becca, isn't frost a nomal down there too.;)

Good morning from hot and sweaty AZ!! We are going to be 107 today!! If we reach 100 tomorrow we will break the record for most days over 100 in May. Becca-send some of that frost down here please.

We have a bunch of mosquitos in our bathrooms and laundry room, and they like to spend all night biting me and keeping me awake from the itching. I pull the covers up completely, but then I must kick them off when I fall asleep because the next thing I know I am woken up by a new bite! I hope I don't end up with the West Nile Virus or something. :sad2:

We went to see Star Trek over the weekend, and it was really good. I highly recommend it. And the guy who plays Kirk is a cutey!! :thumbsup2 I need to google him because I've never seen him before.

Hope you all have a fantastic Monday! :flower3:
