Last year folks who purchased AP vouchers online were unable to make FP+ until they got to the parks. Is this still the case ? Would like to buy AP's for upcoming trip, but want the 60 day window for FP+. Any updates?

With an AP, you get 30 days out I believe. If you have a resort reservation booked, you get the 60 days. I ha e a stay booked from 8/30-9/5. My FP+ choices have been made. But, I can't make any others. If I were to go next week, I wouldn't be able to get those early FP+s. because I already have a weeks worth booked already, the site says I have reached my limit.
I thought the problem was the voucher not the AP. There was not a way to link the voucher to MDE to show a valid ticket? Therefore MDE would not let you make FP+ regardless of how many days you were out. Is there a way now to link the voucher? I do think if you buy the APs and set them to will call instead of receiving a voucher then you will be able to link with the will call reservation number. However, this means you have to buy AP directly from Disney and not through a broker.
I believe you still have to choose the will call option. Then you link the number to MDE and make FP+ reservations. If you choose to have the voucher mailed to you, you can't link that. (From what I understand).
As pp mentioned, unless you have an on-site hotel reservation, AP holders can only make FP+ reservations 30 days out and for up 7 days at a time.
If you have on site hotel reservations for longer than 7 days you can make reservations for the length of your stay, 60 days out.
