Still on the waitlist at BWV for 2bdr

I am getting nervous as we are still on the waitlist for BWV for our april 15 trip. I call member services & they can tell me nothing. Trying not to panic but it is hard. Has anyone not gotten the rooms three months before the trip?

I went on the wait list last May for the first week of December. I would have taken a studio, 1 br or 2 br.

Although I called repeatedly, and put myself back on the list as the time drew near, I never had any luck, and was not able to stay at BWV for that trip.

Good luck, I did have success a couple of years ago with the wait list, so don't give up.

Near the beginning of January we tried to reserve a 2 bdr at the BWV for the first week of June. We also had to be put on a wait list. We got the confirmation for a 2 bdr preferred within a couple of days. Of course that is for a different time period and was about 5-6 months out.

We are also waitlisted for a BC at the Vero Beach property. That one I don't expect to come available. But you never know!! As others have mentioned. At 30 days out call again to be relisted as they usually will take you off the list then. Then at 7 days out they told me to call everyday and check.

Made a 2 BR for five nights for DD and family of 5 at OKW for 3/17. On the first day of the 7 month window tried to book a 2 BR Standard at BWV. Nothing available. Wait listed and got changed to 2 Preferred Studios at BWV. Still on the wait list but no luck for the 2 BR Standard. Of course the week before the Easter high point season is tough. They have children and step-children ages 24, 25 and 21 and the kids wanted BWV. Can't blame them for that. They could care less about that nearly 1400 sq ft at OKW. They are looking for action. We are always looking for peace and quiet and lots of space. By the way, the grandparents(us) are staying in a 1 BR at OKW on the same dates.

I know it's pretty far out but got 2 bdr stadard view at BWV for Nov, 2002 with no problem. Yes it's my home, but still no problem.

Just remember, the standard views go first because of the lower points.

Don't lose hope. We went last May and made our reservations at OKW in a 1-bedroom only 3 months out. BVW had no 1-bedrooms avaiable. We really wanted BWV because my husband had a conference at the Dolphin. So we put our name on the waitlist. At 2 weeks out from the trip we thought that we had no chance but low and behold the confermation for BWV came in the mail 10 days before we left.

Thanks for the responses. I am a liitle tense because we have a medical need due to my nephew's autisum. At the moment we have a one bedroom & studio booked but cannot be told if they will even be on the same floor, also he will have his therapist with him as a respite service and she needs a place to stay that is near to him and we cannot gamble that she will be nearby. Therefore a two bedroom would answer the problem. Oh by the way I did call to find out if they had any available for cash which they do but at $870 a night!!!! WOW!
