Weel, I am having a tough time on just picking one resort to stay at. My mother wants the beach club and my father and I want AKl or WL or Pop Century. So we are thinking of spltting it up. We will be ther Jan. 10 to Jan. 20. How difficult is this to do. Thanks

This is quite easy to do and lots of folks do it on a regular basis. First of all, they will arrange to move your luggage for you. Of course, you have to check into your second resort after you check out of the first and the room may not be ready so you may have a lot of hours without a room to go to. Depending on your needs, this may be a consideration but for us it has never presented a problem. We usually pack up the room and move our stuff into our rental car and then park it in the new resort. I would strongly suggest staying at the more expensive resort at the second part of your stay. We are staying at the Boardwalk Inn first next trip and then off to the CBR. But the CBR is like our home and so I don't feel like we are stepping down in value.

Hi-
We always split our stay between 2 resorts- it makes it feel like we are on 2 vacations!!! We get to try out different resorts while we are there and the transfer of luggage is not that bad... I say go for it and stay at 2!
have fun,

We always split our stay. They are great about transfering your luggage. Last time they took us w/the bags from CBR to GF. I love to be able to try a new resort each trip and still stay a few nights at the GF - my fav.
If you can stay at least 4 or 5 nights at each it is worth it - otherwise for only a couple of nights it may not be as you will just get settled in and have to re-pack and move.

I stayed at 3 this past May. AKL, BC and CSR. The AKL and BC were only 3 day stays each. Basically, I never unpacked. Just took out the necessities. The final move to CSR was for 6 nocs and also the last move so I unpacked everything there.

I like seeing the different resorts. A few years ago I stayed at FOUR of them. It takes me about an hour the night before moving to get everything together and another 30 minutes the day I'm switching. It's a fun thing to do but I've done most of my multi-resorts when I've been down there alone. The one time I moved when I was with DH, it took longer.

With a long stay, like the one you're going to have, it should make for a nice change in scenery.

Good Luck!

We just returned from 6 days at AKL and 3 at WL. We just called bell services at AKL when we were ready to leave and they made sure our luggage was transferred to the WL. We went to MGM for a a few hours and then hopped a bus to WL to check in. It was very smooth and easy.

I also really didn't unpack for the 3 nights at WL.

Have fun and enjoy! I really liked being able to experience two different resorts.

I don't like switching resorts. I don't like taking the time to pack abd unpack again. It seems that just when you settle in at one palce it's time to move to another. I think it's disruptive. I have done it, but generally prefer not to. My opinion.
