stayin @ CSR is it worth telling disney its our honeymoon

It never hurts to tell them it's your honeymoon!! As long as you don't expect anything from them, anything little that they might do for you is always fun and exciting! We stayed at the Yacht club for our wedding and part of our honeymoon, and they didn't do anything for us, but when we switched to the Port Orleans French Quarter, they had a few surprises for us. So sometimes they might do somethign and sometimes they don't!

Here's what we had waiting for us in our room at Port Orleans..

I was so excited and happy when I saw them!! But like I said, the yacht club didn't do anything, so you never know, it's not a very consistent thing.

You don't have to get married at Disney to wear the ears - they are just to let people know that you are on your honeymoon and they are a lot of fun!!

Also if you go to guest relations at any of the parks, ask for the "magical wishes" button, that have mickey and minnie in their wedding outfits and it says "magical wishes" .. it also lets cast members know that you are on your honeymoon. They are free and you don't need to show them anything to get them, just ask for them

We are staying there on our disny wedding/honeymoon in July and on your reservation it says honeymoon. So they do note it.

all the best kim & kyle maybe u could give us sume tips we get married 30th sept going to wdw on the 2nd oct
i have stayed at POR when it was dixie landings and we loved it but wana try somthing new would have loved the AKL but couldnt afford it mind u we have 2 take our 4 kids ,2 of them are classed as adult ,13,10, & 4,3
we have been together since school.
