Can I buy the 2-park unlimited park admission now while it's available and purchase the Stay and Scream later when they become available? Or do I have to wait to buy the park tickets with the Stay and Scream ticket for Halloween Horror Nights? Thanks!

The day tickets have nothing to do with HHN...you would need to buy a HHN ticket and then you could stay in the park for S & S with the day ticket. But...a day ticket alone will NOT get you into HHN. Is that what you're asking? :confused3

maybe I'm totally off, because I've never been to HHN or Universal before, but my understanding from reading info on the Internet was that if you had a day ticket for Universal, you could buy a Stay and Scream pass. This would be your HHN ticket and it allowed you to stay in the park while they made everyone else leave before HHN begins. Is this not right? Would I have to purchase a day ticket, plus a HHN ticket, plus a Stay and Scream pass?

You would have to purchase a day ticket to get in the park but you would also have to purchase a HHN ticket. It's completely separate and requires it's own admission ticket. If you already have a day ticket or AP, you would not need to purchase the Stay & Scream pass since you're already in the park.

Last year they had an IOA ticket that was $10.00 after 5pm I think and lots of people were using that ticket to get into S & S but you still have to buy a separate HHN ticket regardless. I have an AP and passholders have to purchase the tickets just like everyone else.

I do seem to remember the Stay & Scream pass...now that I think of it but the website has taken the ticket prices off and no one is sure what kinds of tickets they will have this year.

Just remember...if you have valid day ticket and a valid HHN ticket for that night and you're already in the park, you can do S & S for free.

Ok I just found this on allears.net

"Can I upgrade my daytime ticket to include entry to Halloween Horror Night?

Yes, it is called a Stay And Scream ticket. If available, you must purchase the Stay And Scream ticket at the same time you purchase your daytime park pass or at Vacations Services in the park. Stay And Scream tickets are $49.95+tax for Saturday nights, $39.95+tax for Friday nights and $24.95+tax for all other nights. This is in addition to your daytime ticket admission cost."

so it would be cheaper for me to purchase this with a day ticket instead of
a day ticket and a HHN ticket. So I guess my question is if I buy the 2-park unlimited admission ticket today for 79.99, since the stay and scream ticket isn't available right now, will they let me buy it later? Or do I need to wait and buy it all together?

In this case you would need to wait and buy it together...of course the ticket deal may be gone by then.

Sorry for the confusion. I forget that some people don't have an annual pass and don't do the things I do.
:rotfl:

before i had the ap, i would do that.

i would buy the "add on" as it is called for the stay and scream when i bought the day ticket.

and there was a time that i bought the 5 day pass on line and when i called for the S & S ticket add on, i gave the original confirmation number of the on line purchase in order to qualify for the special s & s ticket.

Thanks for both of your help. I went ahead and e-mailed Universal and here's the response for anyone else who's interested:

"Thank you for contacting the Universal Online Ticket Store. You may purchase the 2-Park Unlimited Admission now, and purchase the Stay-and-Scream at the park when you arrive. You would simply have to show your valid admission at the ticket sales windows to purchase the add-on.

If you have further questions or need further assistance, please reply to this e-mail or contact the online ticket store at 407-224-7840. Our hours are Monday - Friday 9am to 10pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 8pm EST. "
