Starwood Preferred ?

Just curious. I used the teacher discount at the Swan last Feb. It is a great rate. My question is, Do all of the starwood resorts offer this same teacher discount. I know they have a government rate. Any help is appriciated

I am also a starwood memeber and I have also usd the teacher discount at both the Swan and Dolphin. I travel alot with my job and stay at Starwood Hotels as much as possiable and have not seen any of the other resorts offer teacher discounts. I would call and check about goverment rates because if you teach at a public school you are a state empolyee (in georgia ) asking never hurts.

I agree with goofyykc. I've always understood that public school teachers are considered government employees (state govt. ).

all starwood hotels do not offer the discount...in fact i think swan and dolphin may be the only ones. I have questioned at several others and none of them offered it. perhaps someones knows of others that have the discounts.....good luck
