Stars and Cars Parade Question

Do you know which direction this parade runs? I am looking at a park map that a friend brought me. Does it start on Hollywood Blvd or end there?

Great! Thanks. We have our Fantasmic dinner seating at 4:30 and hope to get done in time to catch the 5:30 parade.

It starts back by Star Tours and ends by Sids on Hollywood-

It starts right between Indiana Jones and Star Tours. The best spot to see it is along the bushes with your back to Indiana Jones, we've done that twice and it was not crowded at all. the Sound Show is directly across from you. Plus you can walk right into the Indiana show as soon as the parade ends, it starts about 4 minutes after the parade passes you at this point.

Don't count on getting a good spot on Hollywood that close to the parade start. Depending on when you are going and how long it takes you to eat you might not even be able to see over the crowd.

Rats! I was hoping the plan would work because the other day we are going to be at MGM, we will be leaving before parade time to get to our 6:00 PS.

We're in the same situation. This will be the only day we'll be able to see the parade, and we're going at a pretty busy time, so it sounds like this may not work out. I've heard that, as the date gets closer, later times are sometimes available for the Fantasmic dinner package. I guess that'll be our only chance of seeing the parade. I was really hoping we could see it this time because DH doesn't usually care for parades but he specifically asked about this one.

Our other alternative might be to make a special trip to MGM to see the parade toward the end of our trip. We usually start out with a pretty tight touring schedule, but by the end of the trip we end up just going with the flow, so maybe we'll be able to fit it in that way.

The spots on Hollywood Blvd are similar to those on Main St. in MK. They tend to go quick and early. Especially the benches. I've seen people stake them out 2 hours in advance during quiet times.
