Star Wars day at Sea?

I assumed that Star Wars day at sea was stopped to hype up the galactic starcruiser or maybe to add more marvel days to hype up movies... but now that the Starcruiser is ending... am I the only one hoping they'll bring the Star Wars days back to DCL???

Gosh I hope you are right!! We had that same discussion at our house once we found out Galactic Starcruiser was closing!

We actually cruised on the Fantasy one week (I believe) after their last Star Wars day at sea. My boyfriend is such a massive star wars fan, I bought him the Star Wars blanket & Pillow stateroom decoration. I felt a bit like an imposter for not having actually done Star Wars at sea, but always thought that we would just get it next season when they brought it back.

Maybe after the 25th anniversary sailings? They'll need another celebration to spice up the off-season cruises??

They have already replaced it with Pixar day at sea cruises. We did 3 SWDAS cruises(2017, 2019, and 2020). My dh likes the movies, but my dd and I don't care about them. We just did them because we liked cruising in Jan when my dd was younger(was easy to take her out of school then). Now she's older so we don't take her out of school, but I'd love to do the Pixar cruise and wished they had switched in 2020 so we could have done one. I got my dh the same SW gifts. I was surprised at how big the pillow is and the blanket is really soft and cozy!!

I hope they bring it back, especially since from 2025 they’ll have more ships to fill over the winter.

I had one cruise with a Pixar day at sea and I found it really unsettling. the costumes really threw me off, but I think I'm in the minority on that. Hearing that that totally replaced star wars day at sea makes my heart a little sad. for new ships and new parties

We loved Star Wars Day at Sea and wish it would come back because when we went we had to wear masks in all of the photos. It would be nice to get some pics mask-free.

I am hoping they will! We had a SWDAS cruise scheduled and had to cancel due to COVID. Then by the time we were able to cruise again the Star Wars day at sea was no longer offered. I'm hoping it'll come back soon!
