Star Wars and a Dream Cruise

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say 1 YEAR LEFT UNTIL OUR FINAL PAYMENTS ARE DUE! Let the countdown begin. :D

We just got off the Magic a couple days ago and booked this trip. It will be our 4th Disney cruise & will be our 4th Disney ship. There is a chance we may switch to a different Dream cruise when dates get closer and we see what airfare is.

Hi everyone,
I just booked this cruise this week. It will be our 5th Disney Cruise!!! We have been on the Magic twice, Fantasy once, and Dream once. We are also cruising on the Fantasy again in Nov 2014. We have done the FE gift exchange twice before. It's alot of fun!

If anyone needs any assistance, I'm more than happy to answer questions with my experiences and point of view.

It will be myself, hubby, and daughter Casey who will be 12 at the time of sailing.

As we get closer, if there is anyone who has daughters in that age range and would like to set the girls up to correspond via email beforehand, we have done this in the past and it has been most excellent for the girls to have an instant friend upon boarding!!

Jeff - do you know of threads or examples where FE rules are laid out? I'm fairly organized and could run the FE, I just dont know where to start. Your list earlier in the thread was helpful..I can do a spreadsheet, but if I have to make up rules, we will be in trouble :rotfl:

Hi,
I'm not trying to answer for Jeff, but... :goodvibes
my two previous FE's were run very differently and there didn't seem to be any "official" rules, just kinda a consensus from the group. Both were excellent, so I don't think you could make a mistake. :cool1:

Hi guys ,
I hope you guys are enjoying your week i just remembered one thing that i wish i knew before i boarded the ship that CM cannot get candy :scared: seriously and it goes to anyone helping you it is like a treat for them . i will ask my friend what they usually give i bought chocolate and rum cake while in the Bahamas for them after learning this ?

YES!!! Chocolate, especially for the stateroom hosts. They apparently don't get a chance to get off the ship very much. I bring chocolate and other candy for the stateroom hosts and the CM's in the kids club. Last cruise I gave the package to the stateroom host when we boarded, we came back after eating lunch and he sheepishly told us half of it was gone!

My daughter Rachel turns 12 in May. She would like to do something like that also. On our cruise last year, she played Words With Friends with a girl for a few weeks leading up to the cruise & really enjoyed it. (On our cruise 2 weeks ago, she didn't know about the cruise until we arrived at the port so she couldn't do that. She already knows about this cruise.)

That would be really nice playing words with friends but my daughter does not have a phone or FB account she has not showed she could be responsible for a phone she always loses or misplaces things Urgh!!

On Our last cruise we had a meet in NYC there was 5 families that came 4 from traveling distance and one was visiting from Greece it was really alot of fun if we were a little bit closer to each other
