standard view@ BW ? Again!

Okay I know I have heard a couple of versions on what the standard views are like but can I ask again? We will have 2 two bedroom units standard view. I could care less but DM is another question.

Standard views are along the driveway from the valet entrance to the pond and around the corner to across from the tennis courts. As you get off the elevator, you turn right and the standard rooms are all on the left side of the hallway, all the way to the end. My personal preference is an upper floor across from the bus stop. You get a great view of the fireworks from Illuminations and can even hear the music.

Our preferance is the first floor close to the elevator. No view of Illuninations but you really can't see the driveway either because you are below it and behind bushes. Very quick access to the fitness room, Luna Park Pool (and bar) and the Boardwalk itself.

I've only stayed at BWV once so far; it was in a standard studio. We were on the 4th floor overlooking the front entrance from the side (does that make sense? ) We enjoyed sitting on our balcony occasionally and watching people come and go. Plenty of activity, but no noise factor at all when we were inside. We could see the high Illuminations fireworks. Our room was also fairly close to the elevator, so we were very happy with it overall.

Maybe you could mention a few times to DM that you thought it would be better to stay more nights in a standard view room instead of fewer nights in a preferred view room. That might make the view seem less important to her.
