I can get a message for an hour here in Chicago for $55, compared to their 50 minute for $110.....

I am surprised at the prices. I had bought a friend a message at Vero recently, and it was $60 with tip?

Did they raise the prices????

Oh well, guess I'll get skipping this. Too high, INMO.

There are a lot of people willing to pay the prices they are asking. If not, I am sure they would be lowering them.

Sure I can get a massage, manicure, facial whatever for a LOT cheaper here in the Detroit area, but it is NOT the experience that the GF or SSR offers.

My girlfriend and I are going to enjoy the spa next week at SSR We booked it when SSR opened the booking window. Even then we had to juggle our dates because the day we wanted was already filled.

I found the rates reasonable, especially with the DVC discount. I had a 1 hour swedish for $88. I also had the pedicure that took about an hour.

The staff was very attentive and the massage and pedicure were excellent.

In Vegas and Orlando, Canyon Ranch Spa is much more expensive.

We have done "Girldays" at the GF spa a few times and have found them to be wonderful and relaxing. We have done the Spa Sampler and in Feb we booked facials for our birthdays. The staff was wonderful and very attentive.

The spa is very relaxing and serene.

Our guys picked up very happy women when we were done. And YES they were US

Next week we are trying the Stone Massage at SSR. I was asked when I called to make the reservation if I was a DVC member and to be sure to bring my membership card.
