Day 6 Saturday 17th December
Today was a relaxing day as yesterday we managed to do 3 WDW parks. MK, Epcot and finally MGM.
We were shattered as it was a early start yesterday.
DD and DBF were flying home today, I woke up at 7am just to give her a ring and say goodbye again etc.
Everybody was awake, so the TV went on and we started to watch the news and weather. The weather was forecast rain, but still warm.
I left mousekeepings envelope under the Christmas tree.
Shopping was on the agenda today then. We have not ate at McDonalds yet so we will go there for breakfast. The one at the Crossroads is the one that we chose as its on the way to LBV outlets.
DD2 and DH have sausage and egg McMuffins, hash browns and OJ. I have the sausage Mcgriddle yummy cost $10
Arrived at LBV outlets 9:55am the shops were just starting to open. Walked around the Old Navy where a tshirt was purchased.
Then next stop was the Disney outlet. Bought a keyring for myself and DD2 bought some presents for her friends back home.
It was really strange in here as TCD have their early checkin at the back of the shop so there were loads of people coming in with huge cases!
After the visit to Disney outlet. We then head off up the OBT to super target. On the way we run low on gas. We end up paying $2.15 then back on track and get to super target. There is a great little tracfone here for $20 which we buy. Its a Nokia 1100, which is ok for us to use while we are on holiday and its much smaller and lighter than the brick we are using now! After target we couldnt be bothered to look anywhere else. DD2 wasnt feeling too well so she wanted to sit in the car, we just decided to head back to the room and chill.
DD1 text messaged to say that she was at the airport.
Back to the room when DD2 announced that she was running short on trousers and would I wash some for her.
We watched some TV and I asked her to go and find out how much everything was for the laundry.
$2.00 for a washer $2.00 for 30 mins drying and $1.00 for a 1 wash packet of washing powder.
So off we went to do some washing. DH said he would go and get the coffee and meet me at the Levee. (laundry)
They actually have a front loading washing machine which I prefer as I think the USA machines tangle all of the washing! So I used this one.
We deicide to have a wander around the resort while the washing is doing is cycle.
Speaking of cycles the bike hire place is shut and you can only hire them from Riverside! Not much good when you are staying here.
We watch the DTD boat docking and people getting off and drinking our coffee.
Then we have a walk passed the pool to the end of the resort. Its a very short walk. We take a slow walk back and take some photos. This is really a great little resort and it is very compact.
