The snow here has finally melted...after nearly two months of it being there! It was in the 50s and 60s this past week and it got rid of it all. I can see my lawn again! I'm glad, I was tired of looking at the snow, and after awhile it gets that gross gray slushy quality to it and is no longer pretty!

what a fun getaway! Couple time is SO important and how great that you made the time to do it. It sounds like it was a great weekend, that teen couple sounds adorable...in a sappy way but still, rather cute. Ah...to be 19 again.

we enjoy our getaways, and parker really has fun away from us for a few days as well...keeps him sane as well.

i was just getting ready to get the grill on the back porch again, but i think it will have to stay in the garage.

we do enjoy getting away, it makes for the winter to go faster when you have fun things to look forward to.

that stage of life was fun, but i wouldnt trade it for now...i have alot more fun with the family now, than i did then.

Looks like a wonderful getaway for you and Candi. It's so important to take the time for each other. My husband and I didn't do that much when our kids were little (part of the reason was because we always lived far away from family) and it did hurt our marriage. But, we're back on track and we know how important it is now.

thanks, we enjoy doing stuff like that. even when we go on camping trips with family we let parker stay the night with other family that is camping with us, he enjoys his time away and we enjoy our time away.

i was glad it was gone too then we woke up this morning to a few inches not bad, but im over it.

Just when you get one grandparent well, another one goes down hill.

my grandmother that is staying in ATL right now is doing good, she seems upbeat and well since her procedure.

on another note my grandfather on my moms side is not doing well. he is the one that made the apperance in the last chapter.

the other day he was caughing a little blood up, and it turned out they needed to do a procedure on him, ( i can not recall the name right now) that was to be sort of an esophagus bypass, it was something that they were going to go down an artery in his throat and install it.

well this morning they went to do the surgery and he has fluid on and in his lungs so they can not do it. My mom is really upset and plans to fly down there today with either my uncle or my dad. it is hard to get exactly what is going on, since it is being relayed through my grandmother and it is alot for her to handle...but it looks pretty touchy right now.

so the prayer chain worked for my grandma in ATL...i ask that you would pray for my grandfather and the family and the doctors that are with him.
