right now the docs said that the fluid is starting to lift off his lungs and if it continues to (which it will) he will have the "TIPS" procedure later today.

they said his bleeding in the esphagus has gone away, but they want to still do the procedure so that it will prevent it from happening again.

thanks everyone for the continued prayers.

my mom and uncle arrived about 6 friday night and by the time they got to the hospital....the fluid had dissapeared from his lungs, and he was well enough to have the procedure done.

the doctors said the procedure to put the stint in by the liver/esphagus worked out well.

he is still sort of heavily sedated today, but they hope that he will continue to come out of it as he knows that people are talking to him but he hates the breathing mask on his face and the other stuff on him and is trying to pull them off of him.

but they cant take them off until he is fully off the sedation

but things seem to have turned around greatly from where he was friday morning....so once again thanks for the prayers and well wishes.
