I saw the Mickey pole on the way to Busch Gardens last year. I never knew there was such a thing!

I saw that MH electrical pole for the first time this trip we just got back from.

i was also amazed at the amount of tall poles with the perches on them that the ospry use for there nests..my grandma said it is because they were building them on electric poles and they can damage them.

they were everywhere along that road with the electric pole.

I was way behind. Thanks for the links. It helps so much when you're trying to get caught up.

thanks, we were very excited when we found out, it was our first month trying for the second one. so we were excited that it happened when it did so we could tell everyone.

Great update. Parker is still so stinking cute! I'm glad y'all had a great visit with your Grandparents. We have several times made loose plans to go to the Chip n Dale sing a long but haven't done it yet. Now that my youngest is getting older I don't know if we'll ever make it.

i think even if they are a little older it is still fun, we enjoy the fun campfire songs they sing and if you get a schedule of the movies they play some are more adult than the kid ones.

i know they play the national treasure ones there.

Going the 25th of February, do you need anything?

yes im hoping someone can check on the different disney racer cars they have for sale right now...i have heard they change the ones they sell at different times, and wondering if they have any good ones now that i can get for parkers b-day

Great update! I love the whole potato head thing. We've done it before, and this year we did the My Little Pony. It was hilarious! Lucy had it packed pretty good, and the CM wouldn't let up - she kept insisting that Lucy could fit more in there!

some of the CM's i noticed where good about that, it is nice to see they help the kids try and get more in there.

some people thing that they just put a potato head together with its pieces attached to it, then put it in the box...they dont know that they can stuff the inside of the body, or put extra pieces around it in the box as well.

I was surprised myself! (that I beat you that is....)

Time for an In Between Update...

...life stuff that happens between disney chapter updates.


so you may have rememeber the big snow storm we got about 2 weeks ago...well here is a picture i took a few days after the storm, when they brought in some of the big hitters to get the snow off our road...it was to much and too heavy for most of the plows.

LAST WEEK_______________________
we had our first baby appointment.

it went good candis midwife really likes us and has a good time when we are with her.

parker was excited to see the picture of his baby brother/sister so when it was time to see it, he was a little dissapointed that you could not make out much.

we saw the heart beat, which was good and strong, and saw the feet, the eyes and the head, but everything else was not that clear right now.

over the weekend________________________

we went out to the in laws, and dropped parker off to play with them.

candi and I ventured out to an INN that we like going to. when we went in december it was not crowded at all mabye 20 people there.

this time it was a little busier. but still not bad.

we took a 2 mile hike on sunday which was a little tiring since there was still snow covered for the cross the cross county skiers there.

we made sure to stop and rest at the natural spring that was still flowing and got a drink of water.

and also candi plopped down after we scaled a bike hill.

that night we were sitting by the fire reading (our own books) when a young couple sat next to us, i say young like late teen young.

they were taking turns reading each page of there book to each other, while holding hands with head rested on his shoulder...candi couldnt stop looking at me and silently laughing, they were sitting closer to candi so when the girl turned to look at the guy and leaned it to give him a kiss, she said "this day couldnt have turned out more perfect"

candi laughed outloud then quickly covered her mouth and looked at me.

it was very funny just the way she said it, it sounded like the whole moment was out of a very cheesy love novel. (which might have been what they were reading to each other)

im sure we have all been ther eand done something like that in our days, but it just seemed very funny to us.

the INN cleared out pretty much on monday, but there was a good amount of older folks there for a few days.

we had breakfast bythe windows by the lake.

here was our view, watching hte birds eat and the squirrels get there corn.

the day was nice and relaxing playing card games, reading by the different fire places around the Inn and swimming in the pool

alot of the older people enjoyed talking to us and saying how nice it was that we could get away and enjoy our time together while we were still young.

that night there was a special dinner in the restraunt, which we were going to get, but the food on the buffet looked better and had more options that we liked so we got that.

lately candi has been feeling a little heavy, she says she is in the between stage when she is not showing but has a little extra around the middle...even thought i tell her all the time how good she looks it helps when others say it as well.

so it was very nice when a lady came up to us while we were eating and told her

"i was watching you get your food and you are just so beautiful in that dress and look so lovely tonight"



it was very nice and i was glad she told her that.

after dinner we asked the waiter if we could buy one of the deserts that they had for the special meal for 2 offer they had, and he said he didnt think they had enough.

well a couple in the table behind us ordered 2 with there "special meal"

and told the waiter that it was too much that they wanted to send it back,

the waiter told them that he could not take it back, but that the couple behind them had asked about it...our table was close enough that we could hear the conversation.

so the guy came over and brought us the desert, we were thankful to him and it was huge.

the brownie was at least 4 inches across both directions and there was one on the top and the bottom of the ice cream in the middle.


we were stuffed after we finished it.

after dinner we were sitting by the fire, and a different old lady walked by and said to candi

"you look so pretty, you are so tall"

candi said
"thank you, because i dont feel like it, im 3 months pregnant"
the lady said
"well dear you look great"

there was some music playing and people were dancing so we danced to a song as well.

then decided it was time to change to go swimming to work off some dinner

it helped we felt better after our swim.

we put on some sweats and went to go by the fire again.

well we ended up talking to 2 older couples for a while and the one old lady told us that we should put our dress clothes back on that we looked better dressed up.


so all in all it was a good relaxing extended weekend break.
