Loved the R2D2.

i was very pumped to see R2D2 first time was awesome.

We didn't get a chance to do DHS last time, but I have two days for it this time around - we leave in 4 days! Staying at FW in a 5th wheel that we are renting it from a DISer.
Do you if a grocery store deliveries groceries there or is the general store at the campground good enough for snacks and stuff.
PS Remember I told you about the camper we bought. It's officially ours, in our driveway and got cleaned out. Five large garage bags went out to the street and my husband washed the whole outside already. Took out cushions and I will be making new ones along with curtains for it. I want to spruce it up a bit. Very dark inside, lots of browns. And of course Mickey it up too!

Chapter 26. What time is the 3:00 parade?
what happens when you are walking out of the animation academy area and you hear music playing loudly. you wonder where it is coming from of course...and you thing what time is the 3:00 parade, or rather what time is it? once you realize it is indeed a little past 3:00 you hurry toward the main street to see what you are missing.
we walk up to the center hub right by the stage area for the High school musical show, and you hunker down. we were able to hunker a spot right in the front row and get parker a front row stoller parking spot.

we were a little in front of where it stopped and the floats opened up and started doing there thing.
soon they were on the move again to there next destination.
so they stopped short of us on the first float and this is where the parade stopped again, we were behind the last float, so we were not in front of any particular float, but parker did get to see the whole parade go by, and it was a big area that the CM's danced around in, but would not be our first choice of viewing locations for the future.
when they asked the kids to come out and dance there were only about 3 that did by us, of course parker was one of them.
when they started to pack up to move on again, they shot out some nerf type balls into the crowd, being by the stage a bunch went up there so the guys on the stage tossed them down to the kids waiting, parker got one, and when they came back to me, they noticed that i as well had one that landed in his stroller so he had a red and a green one, i forgot to get apicture of them, but they were pretty cool they had the block party bash logo and writting on them.
Beauty and the beast was next on the list, so we went there, we chose seats a little farther up so there would be somewhat of a breeze, but wasnt much, i went out and got some cups of ice at the stand across the way and parker enjoyed munching on that.
everyone shows pics of the show, so i will just include one so you know we stayed to the end of it.
our fast passes from earlier in the day were burning a hole in our pockets so we went to TSM to use them up.
i didnt remember this from last time so i took a picture of it.

when we got to the last room, my score was really up there, but something happened and it wouldnt let us shoot in the last room....so when our scores showed up they were not as impressive since we didnt get to finish the game. i wonder if we said something if they would have letus take another run at it.
our stomachs were starting to growl, so we made tracks over to mama m's
candi and i ate here on our honeymoon and really liked it, so we suggested it again to our parents. the only problem was on our honeymoon it was at least an hour and half for us to eat...we were hoping that would not be the case this trip.
it wasnt, we had a geat meal and everyone enjoyed there food and it came out quick...nana had the steak.
i went with the dish i had 3 years ago, the spicy sausage with penna vodka sauce i think its called. it was good and i didnt even finish all of the pasta out of mine.
and papa had the chicken parmagain...candi also had this and parker shared with her.
this desert looked cool so thats the reason i chose it.

Chapter 27. Finally our LM photopass.
after dinner we saw the storm troopers out, parker wasnt interested in the photo, he just wanted him to sign his book.
finally LM and mater had the photopass people there so we got in line since they didnt have any during the morning hours when we were there.
at this point we split up with my parents and they went to the mupets and RNRC with the fast passes, and we strolled along to get some photopasses and later hit animation academy.

i never had the stitch shot so i was excited to get those.
parker is prob. thinking you guys are nuts theres nothing there that you are pointing at.
in the animation academy i was to busy watching parker have fun, i didnt even remember to take a picture of my drawing.
after the drawing, it was getting close to the fantasmic showing, so we headed that way, we stopped in a shop to get parker something since he was so good all day, he didnt fuss once, and he picked out some Cars toys set with all his favorites in it.
we also figured he would do good playing with it while waiting for the show to start.
which he did, occasionally he would stop playing to dance to the music, but every time i switched the camera over to video mode, he would stop.
soon nana and papa returned and stayed with parker while we went to use our FP's for RNRC. then nana showed him a trick on how to stack them up on top of each other.
while in our fast pass line, i texted glenn and jordan to tell them about the trip so far, glenn was getting ready to leave the next day and arrive...soon we were inside and riding the highway. the ride was having some troubles so they were ushering people in past the pre show so they could get as many in as they could.
we waited 1 car for the front seat.
the neat thing about being in the fantasmic show early is that they give you a ticket to let you back in and you get to use a side entrance/exit to come and go, on the way back in i snapped a picture to show it, it is past where you exit TOT (when you exit TOT look left when you come out of the gift shop.)
there was one thing missing when we got back and that was a nice cold beer, which i soon fixed via the consession stand...i got one for me and papa, which hit the spot for all of us (except parker which he had his juice) since it was still pretty humid out that night.
soon the show started and we enjoyed it like always.
only a few pictures so i dont bore you.

after the show we got our stroller fast since we were a few rows from the top, and hit the back entrance which took us out right behind the buildings and past the belle theater.
on the bus, i gave out glow sticks to parker and some of the other kids around us who were driving there parents nuts ( and us) since they were so tired and wanted to be sleeping already...the kids (and the parents) loved them and it kept everyone happy till we arrived back.
we were in bed by 11:30.
we learned one lesson for the day.
Lesson learned: never go to MGM when the star wars weekends are going on, since we arent going to wait in line for the autographs anyway.
hope everyone enjoyed the updates, and has a great thanksgiving weekend.

Am I the only one who thinks the prince looks better as the Beast? I thought that from the very first time I saw the movie. 
I'm not a big fan of Block Party Bash. When I saw it last year, a lot of people seemed confused by it. A lot of people think it's a parade when really...it's not. It's just a dance party. Glad I saw it once but I wouldn't see it again.

Great update, Dan. I love the look on Parker's face when you and Candi are looking at "Stitch." It is priceless.
You guys got a lot done at the Studios, despite Star Wars weekend.
And Mark and I love Mama Melrose too...it is one of our favorites.

What a great day at DHS.
Block Party Bash is ending in January. I made sure I was able to see all three sections. I thought it was fun but boy was it hot. I cannot imagine being a preformer out there moving for 30 minutes.
Great job on getting on RnR while Nana waited with Parker and that you were able to save your spot.

I loved how Parker just wanted the Storm Trooper to sign his book. That is adorable! We love Mama Melrose's as well. In fact we got the same cake you did on our last trip. I also loved your face in the RNR pic, it was funny

we did get a lot of stuff done, it was just crazy at moments trying to get through some of the stuff they had going on on that sid eof the park.
i love that sausage pasta dish i got i would go back again just for that.
