I'm with you - my Disney budget is what is left over after the trip is booked. I've had it sitting in an account for several months and am slowly using it up. I think with the additional nights I just booked, I'm almost done buying things out of the Disney budget now. Just a few small things and that will be that (t-shirts and tie-dye!).

Glad you got your Memory Maker bought! I actually keep thinking about doing this for Mom and me but it's only because I always end up not getting pictures of myself!

That's funny about booking and then canceling the ADR. I can completely imagine doing the same thing. Who knows, maybe there will be something open day-of!

I am staying at the AoA - Little Mermaid. This is a first for me although my sister stayed there on her solo trip in May and loved it! I am very excited.

The summer has been good and I am still enjoying it, right up to the last warm and sunny day. We deserve it after last winter!

FP... I don't know what to tell you about FP. It just drives me BONKERS!!!

i am so afraid to go into the system to look around now in fear of losing the A&E or 7DMT...

I think the FP stuff is all personal preference. I spread mine out like do one in the am, one in the afternoon and one later. If I am at MK, we can always get tons of stuff done in the morning with really minimal waits, especially in October, it is usually pretty manageable for us! We did it in July too, I think we rode, Dumbo, Barnstormer, Carousel, Little Mermaid, all before our 9:20-10:20 FP for SDMT! So really just prioritize what is most important to you!

Oh!!! I have been reading over the kiosk menus for Food & Wine Festival!! I am a little sad that they have taken off some of my favorite items, or taken away one of my favorite kiosks...but..soon on my September PTR, I am going to start making some selections of what I am going to eat in September!! Woohoo!! I am so excited I can barely contain myself! Foooooooood!!!

Love the two different green shirts, I really think that would look great. Not too matchy-matchy, but definitely meant to go together. Can't wait to see them when they're done!

I'm into next year's Disney budget...

I like Yak & Yeti, the food is good but those Wontons are amazing. A-MAZ-ing. Both times I was there it wasn't very busy, you'd probably be ok getting a walk up (especially if you went early, like 4pm or something.)

When we went in 2010 I thought about getting Memory Maker but since it didn't include ride photos I nixed it. so happy that ride photos are included now. You should think about getting it. How many parks days you have and the rides you'll be on, etc... It was this thread that convinced me.

Thanks! I'm not 100% in love with the color but I think it will look cute together! And lol, everytime I turn around theres some reason for me to go on Amazon! So hard. Must resist the darkside!!!

Last winter was brutal! But the summer has been pretty light on the hot days! I'm hoping that means we'll have a beautiful and long warm fall!

You're so adorable and hilarious!! lol So excited for my shirts too! Once I get the ones I ordered and the ones I'm doing the decals with I will post pictures. Can't wait!!!

I'm not 100% yet what I'll be wearing on Epcot day. I have noted to wear my color splat(non-disney shirt) or my brown and pink Mickey shirt I got on my last trip. I will definitely make sure to let you know though before hand so you know what to look for. I can't remember which ones you'll be wearing but I know it will be in the big t-shirt post you have in the works!!!

Oh man I wish they had the fried wontons at the walk up, but who knows maybe they will by the time we go?!!

Yeah, the FP+ makes me nervous too. I don't want to go in there to change something and then it all goes to poo! Must be careful!!

That makes me feel better about FP+! I was trying to work out the times and kinda where we would be in the parks and then it suddenly seemed like there was no time at all and we would be rushing and just NO TIME!!! lol. I had to talk myself down and point out how many hours we would actually have in the parks.

So EXCITED for F&W! I have list of the food booths and menus. Things I want to try are marked and Andy just has to mark down his. SO MUCH!!! lol Can't wait to see what your choices and recommendations are! Also yay for September PTR!!!!

You still have time to decide. As long as you order it a week before you go so there is no rush. I think you would be fine giving your camera to a disney photographer. As long as it has a strap they can dangle it from their wrist securely. It is a lot of money just for some digital photos(not even print outs!) but you get a lot of photos and it will force you to stop and use the photo pass locations as well. lol, I'm not helping I know! Hey there! I followed over from Teetah's PTR and while I haven't read through your entire PTR, I had some early comments to make.

1) Awesome doing the DVC rental thing. I really makes a lot of sense if you can get into where you want. We rented DVC at AKL in 2010, and recently purchased DVC at AKL. The value rooms are near impossible to get into unless you book close to the 11-month mark. AKL is great, but one thing to note about DVC that you might not know - no housekeeping, except on the 4th day you get a towel service.

2) I see you are flying out of Buffalo, meaning you are close by to us. We live in Buffalo and also are flying out of Buffalo. (OK, I will admit I sometimes get annoyed at all the Canadiens flying out of Buffalo that drive up our ticket prices - but I won't hold it against you. We were able to still get $224 RT by flying during the week.) Funny thing is, we had the exact same flight change you had to 6:30 AM, so we are clearly flying on the same flight - though it seems quite likely we are on a different day. We fly out on a Thursday just for a weekend getaway. You can check out my PTR link if you want to see the exact dates.

Well, I've only missed about four months of planning..... This year has just turned out to be sooooooo busy! I was all over the boards this time last year but now that my trip is actually coming up I just can't seem to stay ahead!!!!

Your plans all look great! I have had to just let mom make most of the plans for us and give an opinion here or there.....of course, since neither of us has been we don't know what we are doing anyways!!!!!

Aaaaah, t-shirts...... I had planned on making a few, but some extra outfits were bought , so now we don't have that many opportunities for our t-shirts. I did copy that graphic from Terri as well though......I love the idea of the green!!! That will be cute.

Now I am gonna have to go look up the F & W thread! I am sooooooo EXCITED about this. I hope you will post some of what you plan on getting. Everything looks good to me!!!

Well, if you are lurking you should say "hi". I don't know how far your drive is down, but flying out of the Buffalo airport is really simple. It's not a big airport, so it's nice. (I've never flown out of Toronto so can't really compare.)

We did pay for the Savannah View at AKV the time we stayed there, and I admit that I think it is worth the extra 2-3 points a day. However, there are plenty of places to view the animals around the resort. The DVC rooms are really nice compared to a moderate. You will definitely be spoiled.

We DID get a towel animal the first day (only).

Toronto(Pearson) is huge and bananas but I like the new terminal they opened a few years ago. But I'm really looking forward to a smaller airport and not needing to go through customs trying to get to the plane!

Having coffee in the morning and watching the giraffes! I mean how can someone not love the idea of that?!!
