The parks blog post does say that the weekend shirts will be Brooks and the first Disney themed shoes will be available at the expo.

Big news! My assumption had been that they might start with the fall "season" (even though they're shifting away from the seasons, thought they might have an agreement that ends with Springtime Surprise).

BTW, the 5k medal is incredible. All of them are great but I love the cassette tape.

I wonder if they chose springtime to start the new partnership because they know it's the least popular and thought maybe it would sell the rest of the races out. I just noticed the challenge is sold out but I'm pretty sure when I looked yesterday it wasn't.

I work for a national non profit org and these big partnerships can take months or even years to finalize. I'm sure the timing has more to do with when the partnership was signed and lead times for design and production, but no doubt rD will be happy for any boost to push those SS races.

That said, I'm glad I had already signed up for the 10K -- that Hercules theme snagged me.

I have a red cape I wore for a Snow White costume, and I'd be tempted to wear it just to hear Endas yelling at me all race.

This race weekend has been taunting me for such a long time with the Challenge and 10 miler being open for so long.
I have a AP expiring a week following the races and my DW had mentioned that my eldest son questioned why he hasn't been asked to run a race with me........
So, I decided to sign up for and introduce my DS22 to RunDisney. Of course the Challenge sells out the day before.
But I signed us up for the 10 miler anyway.
It definitely feels weird going to a run weekend and "only" running one race but I guess it will be a good start for my son and I'm sure will be a great few days for the two of us.
He was already on his way to becoming a Disney Adult, a RunDisney weekend with dad during F&G should certainly be the finishing touch.

Flights booked, now on to resort ressies.
